Answer: Styles

Styles is a slightly rebellious bosun's mate that was seen in all eight movies. Horatio met him on the Justinian and Styles stayed with Horatio throughout the series. In "The Duel", Horatio caught Styles gambling belowdecks. The other mates were betting on how many rats Styles could kill. With just his mouth. Gross, isn't it?

2. Mariette is a French girl that Horatio falls in love with, marries, and lives happily ever after with.

Answer: False

Sadly (?), she dies soon after Horatio meets her in "The Frogs and the Lobsters". Horatio plans to marry her and tries, unsuccessfully, to help her escape. When Mariette jumped out the window she broke/sprained her ankle and Horatio had to help her. Horatio was helping her get to the bridge when a French bullet hit her in the back. Horatio was devastated and almost blew up with the bridge, were it not for Archie.

Archie Kennedy appeared in 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6. He died tragically in 6, "Retribution". But he did manage to help Horatio out of a sticky situation which might have cost Horatio his career. He stayed a loyal friend to the end. He also happens to be my favorite character.
