1. The producers of 'Jamie and the Magic Torch' were Cosgrove Hall Productions. Which of the following classics did they also produce?

Answer: Dangermouse

Cosgrove Hall have prouced some of the best children's television classics in their time. We have a lot to thank them for. Who can imagine a world without 'Dangermouse', 'Count Duckula' and 'Chorlton and the Wheelies'?
2. Jamie's pet dog was called Wordsworth. What breed of dog was he?

Answer: Sheepdog

Wordsworth gained the ability to speak whenever they visited Cuckoo Land. Never did understand why a sheepdog spoke with a West Country accent though!
3. What was the name of the magical place Jamie and Wordsworth used to visit?

Answer: Cuckoo Land

They arrived in Cuckoo Land by sliding down a psychedelic helter-skelter that had emerged from the beam of the magic torch on Jamie's bedroom floor. I wonder how the helter-skelter avoided the lounge? :-)
4. What was the name of the policeman who ate his truncheons?

Answer: Officer Gotcha

Officer Gotcha also used to ride a unicycle. He went everywhere on that thing! He was a very law abiding Officer, and seemed to always have spare truncheons lying under his helmet!

6. There was a not very handy handiman in this strange world. What was his name?

Answer: Mr Boo

Mr Boo could usually be found flying around in something that looked similar to a U.F.O. which was called the Sub-Machine.

Answer: False

She used to tuck Jamie up in bed, put the light off and said 'Sleep well, Jamie.' We never saw his Mother apart from the shape of her silhouette against the landing light.
9. What type of creature was Ebullient 'Bully' Bundy?

He was in fact a huge purple rabbit with one huge foot!
10. Which of these are not a line from the theme tune?

Thankyou for playing my quiz! If you like classic cartoons as much as I do please check out my other quizzes! For the diehards... here are those fantastic lyrics in full; 'Jamie, Jamie, Jamie and the Magic Torch. Down the helter skelter, faster and faster towards Cuckoo Land. Wordsworth, Wordsworth, following hard behind. Ready for adventure, always there to lend a paw or a hand! Mr Boo and all the others too, the strangest people you've ever seen. And the torch with it's magical beam, If I hadn't really been there I'd think that I was dreaming! Jamie, Jamie, no two nights are the same. And life is one long glorious game with Jamie - Jamie and the Magic Torch!'
