4. Why was Ben late getting to Ellis' questioning?

Answer: It was the middle of the night

Poor Ben, it seems as though none of his clients can get arrested during the day time!

Jeff had been dating Ellis' daughter. Ellis didn't like it and tried to pay Jeff in exchange for Jeff's promise never to see his daughter again.
6. What was the murder weapon?

Answer: Dinner

He had been eating with his (rich) grandmother.
