Answer: James Garner

James Garner was Bret Maverick. Roger Smith starred in "77 Sunset Strip". Clint Walker played another TV western hero, "Cheyenne". Clint made a name for himself playing Rowdy Yates in the long running western series "Rawhide" James Garner reprised his character in the 1981-82 series "Bret Maverick".

Answer: Jack Kelly

Jack Kelly was Bart and James Garner was Bret. These two complemented each other, alternating episode to episode. Fans especially liked the episodes in which both brothers appeared. Cliff Edwards was of course known as Ukelele Ike and appeared in dozens of early western movies.

He is most famous as the voice of "Jiminy Cricket" in Pinocchio. Jack Palance and Cliff Robertson are better known for movie appearances.
