Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which South Park citizen was found to be illiterate?

Answer: Officer Barbrady

In 'Chickenlover', Officer Barbrady needed to stop a crazed individual going around South Park and having his way with chickens, but to do so he had to overcome his illiteracy, partly by going to South Park Elementary and getting a few lessons in reading comprehension. During this time, of course, he befriended the boys and had Cartman take over as the local law enforcement.

In the end, the culprit was the local bookmobile driver who, as it seemed, only slept wth chickens to help Barbrady learn to read...which seems like an odd way to approach things.
2. The South Park dodgeball team competed in what foreign country in "Conjoined Fetus Lady"?

Answer: China

With Chef as coach, the South Park Cows advance to the dodgeball finals and the Nationals in Washington DC, sending them onward to face off against the well-trained Chinese team. During an early practice, Pip breaks Kyle's nose and he has to head to Nurse Gollum, a woman with a stillborn fetus protruding from her head. Kyle tells his mother and she immediately takes it upon herself to make everyone extremely aware of the situation.

By the end of the episode, Nurse Gollum needs to make it clear that people are singling her out and the Cows, with Pip at the lead, win the World Championships...not that it matters since everyone has been so busy celebrating Conjoined Twin Myslexia.
3. Is The Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka real?

Answer: No

Since the boys need to learn about the Vietnam War in school, they head to the set of Jimbo and Ned's hunting-themed TV show, "Huntin' and Killin'", to ask them questions about their experiences. What the boys are told ends up taking Mr. Garrison off-guard and he instantly believes they're lying. To get back at Jimbo and Ned, the kids end up deciding to enact revenge by faking an appearance of the Mexican Staring Frog. Ultimately, they all end up on Jesus' new TV show, in itself struggling to obtain ratings, to battle it out on trash TV.

In the end, everyone apologizes for lying, including Jesus, and his producer is sent to Hell.
4. During the summer, who leaves South Park to pursue a relationship with Brett Favre?

Answer: Mr. Hat

Mr. Garrison spends a good chunk of the episode searching for Mr. Hat and blaming the children for his disappearance, even though he just seems to be a puppet. The kids don't care though; it's the first day of summer and the snow has melted. To celebrate, the town of South Park decides to purchase the world's longest ash snake.

This goes as well as one would expect, and soon, the town is responsible for a devastating pillar of ash. Jimbo, Ned, and the boys need to leave Colorado to get the fireworks needed to put the snake to an end.

In the meantime, Mr. Hat continues to be missing, and psychiatrist Dr. Katz believes that the puppet may have been a manifestation of Mr. Garrison's gay side (due to his fantasies of meeting Brett Favre with a bottle of thousand island dressing). Coincidentally, this is exactly where Mr. Hat is.

He returns to South Park much later in the season, and until then, Mr. Garrison holds onto Mr. Twig.
5. Where does Chef decide to sell his Chocolate Salty Balls?

Answer: Film festival

The creators of the Sundance Film Festival decide they need a change of pace and move the festival to South Park, so everyone jumps in to capitalize. At the same time, Mr. Hankey is in trouble; he can't survive in the new sewer ecosystem created by the horrible diets of Los Angeles filmgoers.

The kids try to convince the moviegoers to save Mr. Hankey but they end up trying to buy the film rights instead (and they do, making up a movie involving a monkey). The piece of feces is only brought back to life by one of Chef's Salty Chocolate Balls, and he forces the Hollywood types out in a 'Fantasia'-style wave of devastation.
6. Mr. Garrison's third grade class ends up hypnotized after a field trip to which of these locations?

Answer: Planetarium

Taking place in the episode titled "Roger Ebert Should Lay Off the Fatty Foods", the kids have to deal with a malicious man named Dr. Adams who controls peoples' minds with his projector, making them believe that they must come back and work for the planetarium.

As it turns out, it's all a ploy to enslave people and prevent the planetarium from closing. Stan, Kyle, Mr. Mackey, and Nurse Gollum have to try to stop Dr. Adams...but it's Cartman, who spent the entire debacle attempting to sing in a commercial for one of his favourite snacks, Cheesy Poofs, who reverses the hypnotizing laser show and saves everyone.
7. What do the boys try to win as a fairground prize during Cow Days?

Answer: Terrance and Phillip dolls

The 14th Annual Cow Day Festival is happening in South Park, and all sorts of things are happening in the episode "Cow Days". A sacred cow memorial goes missing (the cows take it and worship it as a cult) so the town sends a couple of innocent tourists, only there because they won the trip as a prize, to prison to die. Meanwhile, the boys try to raise money to participate in a ball-throwing game to win cheap, knock-off Terrance and Phillip dolls, inevitably entering Cartman into a bull-riding competition to win $5,000.

Unfortunately, during practice, he hits his head and believes he's a Vietnamese prostitute named Ming Li. The boys get their money and simply pay for the dolls, but soon realize that they're all horrible quality, prompting the town as a whole to force out the carnies for their shenanigans.
8. Chef is sent to prison after being sued by a recording studio. Really, his own song was stolen and given to what recording artist?

Answer: Alanis Morissette

Cartman is unable to stop singing Alanis Morissette's new song, "Stinky Britches" and Chef overhears him, recognizing it as a song he wrote years ago. When he seeks a songwriting credit from the studio, he's sued and sent to prison. The boys end up contacting Chef's old friends (including Elton John, Meat Loaf, and Rick James) to raise money for legal fees, but their success isn't found until Elton John brings his superstar friends to perform at 'Chef Aid'.

At the same time, Mr. Garrison is shocked to find that Mr. Hat has returned and is, eventually, sent to jail. Mr. Hat ends up freeing both Mr. Garrison and Chef, breaking them out of prison in a truck, and everyone makes it to the concert.

In the end, Johnny Cochran ends up fighting to help Chef and he gets the freedom and credit he deserved in the first place.
9. In what state does Cartman's extended family live?

Answer: Nebraska

In "Merry Christmas, Charlie Manson!", the boys head out to Nebraska to visit Cartman's family for a weekend during the holidays; Stan ends up defying his parents by sneaking out to go. One of the Cartmans, Uncle Howard, happens to be in a penitentiary with Charles Manson, and when they break out they head straight to the Cartman household.

In the end, Stan's family heads to Nebraska at the same time that the police close in on Manson. Considering the unfortunate events in Nebraska, Stan's punishment is deferred until after Christmas and Manson is sent back to jail.
10. What South Park school kid introduces the others to the underpants gnomes?

Answer: Tweek

The boys are placed into a group of five for a project on current events and they're matched up with Tweek, the son of a local coffee shop owner. Tweek tries to convince the boys to do a project on 'underpants gnomes' but in the end, Tweek's father just writes the report to be recited to a local committee, convincing them to prevent Harbucks, a larger coffee chain, from putting them out of business.

The boys are asked to write a new report and, after actually meeting the underpants gnomes, decide to write about corporate takeover from a positive point of view. Ultimately, they tell the truth and the Tweek coffee house is replaced by a Harbucks.
