Someone on the 'Buffy' production staff must be a Who fan. In the season four episode "Where the Wild Things Are," Giles performed a solo acoustic version of "Behind Blue Eyes" at the Espresso Pump.

The first scene in the episode is of Giles training Buffy. He actually said all of these things eventually. They seem to be progressing nicely with their training, until Dawn ruined everything.
