Answer: She approves

Marie finds it amazing that Robert is thinking of quitting the force. She says that she's wanted him to get into a "safe and normal job" for a long time now. Robert agrees that she has been saying it for a while. Amy, however, does not agree with Marie and thinks that Robert should stay on the force.

Answer: Marie wants to know if there's a law against her expressing her opinion

Marie tells the others that she's just expressing her opinion about Robert quitting the force. She asks if there is a law against it. Ever so cocky and eager to get under his wife's skin, Frank says, "I've been trying to pass that legislation for years." Marie does not look happy with this. But it's Frank. She can't really expect much else.

Answer: To make Marie happy

Marie says that it is Robert's true desire to quit the force. Amy argues that he's only considering early retirement because it will make Marie happy. Marie still insists that Amy is wrong and even tells Robert to tell Amy that she's wrong.

Answer: Retire or don't retire

As she leaves Raymond's and Debra's house, Marie reminds Robert to listen to the little voice in his head. She asks if the voice is saying to retire in a calm, soothing voice. However, she attempts to cross her eyes and shakes her head in a funny motion as she says to not retire. Amy obviously takes offense to this.

Answer: He did it anyway and regrets it

After Marie leaves, Frank offers his opinion of her 'little voice' speech. He says that his voice told him not to do something once, but he didn't listen. As a consequence, he now has a big voice telling him what to do. He is alluding that the voice in his head told him not to propose to Marie.

Answer: After-Marie liquor

Raymond responds to Amy's request by saying that they do not have liquor in the house. Debra counters Raymond's response by telling Amy that the liquor is in a cabinet, behind the cream of wheat. Both Raymond and Robert look stunned by this as they share a look.

Answer: He put his socks on too loudly

The next day is Robert's birthday party, which Debra and Raymond have decided to host at their house. Raymond comes down the stairs while the alarm blares. After he gets it to be quiet, Debra asks him what set it off 'this time'. Raymond responds by saying that he probably put his socks on too loudly.

When Robert and Amy show up, Raymond complains to his brother about the alarm. Obviously this has been happening for a long time. Robert tells Raymond that the alarm system they have goes buggy sometimes.

Answer: She's the normal Barone

Debra thinks that Robert shouldn't retire, which makes Amy happy. When Amy says that Debra is the normal Barone, Debra says that she isn't technically a Barone. Amy says that Robert has been asking everyone for their opinion. Thus far, he's asked the Barones, Andy, Gianni, Judy and the guy Judy was handcuffing.

Answer: Because he'd never hear the end of it if he didn't support her

When Marie and Frank come to the party, Frank offers Robert his present in a coat. Marie had refused to wrap it, so he put it in the coat... but Robert can't keep that too. Marie then urges Frank to tell Robert something. Frank says that he thinks Robert should quit. Amy and Debra object, but Frank says that if he doesn't support Marie, then she "would be an ice-pick in his ear" until he dies.

Everyone seems happy to see Hank and Pat on the other side of Raymond's front door. Marie asks why they are there and Amy says that she invited them. Robert asks them if they think he should quit the force or not. Pat agrees that he should quit, which makes Marie compliment her. Hank, on the other hand, disagrees.

He enjoys telling people that Robert is a cop. If Robert would quit, the only thing he could brag about is Robert's height.

Answer: He punches it

The alarm goes off again when Hank and Pat move. Robert tries to input in another code, but it doesn't work. Finally, he just punches it. Raymond asks him where that idea is in the manual. Robert then tells him to call tech support and get him a bucket of ice. Raymond goes to call tech support, and Robert tells everyone to freeze.

When he says that, Debra is bent over the coffee table. She gives him a dirty look.

Answer: Because Marie said he knew how to stay in line

Marie tells Pat that Frank knew to stay in line and agree with her on this issue, since Hank doesn't agree with Pat. Frank takes back his decision of what Robert should do. He then tells Robert to become a motorcycle cop with no helmet and an Evil Knievel bike.

When Marie yells at him, Frank stands and waves his hands. This sets off the alarm yet again. Raymond comes in from the other room and tells Robert that tech support said to bash his head into it. Robert believes him and asks who he was talking to.

Answer: He yanks it out of the wall

While Raymond brings Robert to the basement to talk, Frank walks over to the screeching alarm and yanks it off of the wall. He then says that doing so was easy and he should have married the system instead of Marie.

Answer: Raymond tells him to look deep inside himself to find the answer

After Robert offers this idea, Raymond tells him that he was looking too deeply into himself. Robert decides to back off of the idea and be a choreographer. Raymond rejects this idea as well.

Answer: Cop

First Robert says that he is a cop because Raymond said "a" instead of "an". Raymond changes the sentence to "My occupation is ___". Robert decides he wants to stay a cop. On the way back upstairs, Robert tells Marie that he's going to stay a cop because Raymond said he should. Marie slowly goes after Raymond, who calls for Robert to trip the alarm.
