The first Festivus miracle is that the two guys from the betting place calls H & H Bagel looking for Elaine just as Kramer is leaving the bagel shop to go to the Festivus dinner. He suggests that these two guys come along because Elaine will be there. Elaine was not happy to see them.

The second Festivus miracle is when Gwen shows up and accuses Jerry of seeing another woman, and points to Elaine, saying that Kramer told her that Jerry was seeing an ugly woman. Elaine looked terrible because she had sat in the bagel shop with the extra steam for hours waiting for Steve to call. Jerry runs out after Gwen until she gets to the front porch, where the lighting is bad, and the ugly side of Gwen is seen.

Elaine had eaten 23 sub sandwiches and only needed one more to get a free sub. She complained that the sandwiches were not very good but that she wanted to complete the card deal.
