Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the beginning of the episode, who does not attend the McKinley Celibacy Club meeting?

Answer: Lauren

In the beginning of the episode, Emma calls the Celibacy Club to order as they begin their meeting; only Rachel and Quinn are in attendance. Quinn claims that she's back in the club to keep herself on track, especially after last year. Rachel's there to focus on songwriting and to avoid thinking about Finn who, as she says, is kryptonite.

They decide to sell a necklace comprised of a heart and a key though they don't give out the latter portion to signify holding out until marriage. Later, in the staff lounge, Emma notes that the chastity charms never took off; students started wearing them as clip-on nipple rings. Will encourages her to keep trying but his talk is cut short by the reappearance of Holly Holliday, who's subbing for the school's health and wellness teacher.
2. Who thinks they may have 'a bun in the oven'?

Answer: Brittany

Emma asks Holly why she doesn't think celibacy is a valid option for teens and Holly says that it's a great idea, but an unrealistic one. She says that all they can do is help teens be aware of certain issues and let them decide what's best. She also informs Will that his Glee kids really need a lesson or two because some of them are clueless. Emma continues to argue saying that graphic and sexual images have no place with teenagers or adults.
Santana asks Brittany if she'd like to come over after school to make out but Brittany isn't feeling too well. When she says that she thinks she has a bun in the oven, she asks Santana not to tell anyone but Santana can barely keep her mouth shut half-way through a single sentence. Within twenty seconds, Artie finds out through the grapevine.
In the choir room, Artie looks horrible because of the news and Brittany explains that she has a baby on the way because a stork built its nest outside her window so it must be bringing her a baby. Will realizes that Holly was right about a lack of information.
3. What word does Will announce is the theme of this week's Glee Club buzzword?

Answer: Sexy

Will visits Holly's jazzercise class and discusses what they should do about the kids. She decides that she'll stop by the choir room and slip a little lesson about STDs into their Regionals practice so that they can get the material across without worrying about its provocative nature. This leads Will to announce the week's theme: 'Sexy'.

He explains that New Directions needs to recognize the truth about the intricacies of adult relations. Holly stops by to introduce her lesson about sex by first dispelling the stork myth and the hot tub baby idea from last year. Rachel tries to vouch for celibacy but Holly says that despite her admiration for her, she must be frigid and naive.

She then leads into Joan Jett's "Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah)". Even Will thinks this lesson plan is a bit much.

At the end of the song, Holly also gives a brief, but sobering lesson about sexual partners. So much for subtlety.
4. Who do Kurt and Blaine discuss Regionals with at the coffee shop?

Answer: Sue

At the coffee shop, Kurt and Blaine run into Sue, of all people, who has arrived in the spirit of fellowship (or so she says). She states that she received word from the choir room at McKinley that the judges are looking for sex appeal (based on Will's single word on the board) and she suggests that the two teams go into cahoots to beat out New Directions. Kurt says that they're not working together and Sue regrets telling him this news before confirming their camaraderie. Blaine, meanwhile, realizes that the Warblers may need to consider adding something fresh and sexy into their routine.
Emma is disappointed with Will for teaching the Glee kids about sex. In fairness, Will asks Emma to sing a different viewpoint along with the celibacy club. She agrees to this plan.
Lauren, meanwhile, tells Puck that they need to make a sex tape so that she can be famous like a Kardashian. While Rachel wants to sing and be famous, Lauren just wants to be famous in general. They decide to start planning.
5. Will convinces Puck and Lauren not to move ahead with their idea to make a pornographic video.

Answer: False

In a warehouse (somewhere) Blaine welcomes a group of girls from Dalton Academy's sister school and thanks them for coming to test the 'sexiness' of the group's new number, "Animal" by Neon Trees. With the Warblers backing, Blaine and Kurt both duet as a bubble machine unleashes itself on the crowd below. After the number, some of the girls try to give their numbers to Blaine but he says he's on the other team. Kurt, meanwhile, is concerned that he can't evoke sex appeal.
At Santana's place, Brittany tells Santana that while she likes to spend time making out with her, she and Artie talk about feelings when they're together and how feelings make the moment better. Brittany isn't sure how she feels about them together and suggests that they speak to an adult about their problems.
Puck and Lauren, meanwhile, watch a sex tape in the school library to get ideas before they're interrupted by Holly who says that she's proud they're comfortable with their bodies but she's concerned that what they're doing is child pornography. They decide not to go through with the idea before Brittany and Santana come in looking for Ms. Holliday.
6. What type of dance does Will try to integrate into the song "Kiss" (by Prince)?

Answer: Tango

In a quiet classroom, Holly has Santana and Brittany sit in her 'Sexy Sharing Circle' and she asks them if they've ever considered themselves as lesbians. Neither of them is really sure as they're attracted to both girls and guys. Santana once made out with a mannequin, for example. Holly suggests that they find a song with which they can begin a dialogue to express their feelings and Santana says she has the perfect song; they just need her help.
Blaine tries to guide Kurt through sexy faces at the Hummel place but Kurt is too uncomfortable to go on with it. When Blaine asks if there's anything about sex he wants to talk about so that they can both know, Kurt asks him politely to leave as he doesn't want to cross that threshold.
In the choir room, Will asks Holly to help him practice a tango to Prince's "Kiss". After the dance, the two of them kiss and Will expresses how much he wants her. Holly suggests that it wouldn't be a good idea for the two of them to be together and departs.
7. Which Glee Club member joins the Celibacy Club after learning a valuable lesson?

Answer: Puck

Blaine heads over to Burt's garage to speak about Kurt's reluctance towards the topic of sex. Burt says that he's glad Blaine is gay so that Kurt has someone to talk to, but Blaine says that Kurt avoids talking. Blaine goes on saying that Kurt deserves to be educated and he apologizes for overstepping before he leaves.
In the choir room, Holly plays guitar and helps Santana and Brittany through Stevie Nicks' "Landslide". Brittany and Santana embrace each other.
At the next Celibacy Club meeting, Emma, Rachel, and Quinn are joined by Puck who, after realizing his foray into sex tapes could lead him back to jail, decided to make things right by joining. Emma welcomes him and notes that they'll all be performing a song for Glee Club the next day about celibacy. Puck suggests that they need one more person to make the performance work.
8. Who joins the Celibacy Club to perform "Afternoon Delight"?

Answer: Carl

Emma's plan to perform for the Glee Club is put into place and the Celibacy Club hits the stage as a quintet (of Emma, Rachel, Quinn, Puck, and Carl) to perform Starland Vocal Band's "Afternoon Delight", a song which doesn't really have the wholesome meaning that Emma believes it does.

At the end of the song, only Brittany gives a standing ovation-- it's a clear sign that something is wrong. Holly is the first to speak up about the confusing song choice. After the song, Carl asks Holly for an appointment for some sex-ed counseling. At the Hummel homestead, Burt hands Kurt some pamphlets about sex-ed. Kurt starts covering his ears and Burt says it's not going to be good for the both of them.

The only solid advice he gives is to be with someone who he actually has feelings for.
9. In this episode, how long have Carl and Emma been married (according to Carl)?

Answer: Four months

At the school, Carl and Emma have a talk of their own with Holly in the sex-ed classroom. Carl discloses the truth while Emma skirts around the major issues of their relationship. After four months of marriage, Emma is still afraid to be touched, let alone consummate. Holly says that she's not a doctor.

She asks a single question: "Does Emma still have feelings for Will?" When Emma says she's confused about what she feels, Carl lets her stay at the condo while he stays at the Radisson. Emma asks Holly not to tell Will and she agrees. In the halls, Santana asks Brittany to talk and she thanks her for performing with her. What Santana realizes is that she's an angry person because she has feelings for her; she doesn't want to face the problems associated with lesbianism. Santana says she doesn't want to be with Sam or any guys-- she just wants to be with Brittany. Brittany says she loves her back, but she loves Artie too and she doesn't want to hurt him.
10. After Emma leaves, who takes over as the leader of the Celibacy Club?

Answer: Rachel

Lauren criticizes Puck for joining the Celibacy Club while walking down the halls between classes and Puck says he did it because he's tired of not thinking about consequences. Regardless, he likes her and wouldn't change that. She kisses him for the first time and says that he's still a nerd, but she'll join Celibacy Club with him to play footsies under the table.
At Celibacy Club, Rachel takes over for Emma who decides to spend that hour of her week fixing "her failed sham of a marriage". Present for this meeting are Quinn, Puck, Lauren, Santana, Sam, Artie, and Brittany. During their meeting, Puck notices a hickey on Quinn's neck and she covers it up by saying she accidentally burnt herself with a curling iron. It turns out she was spending time with Finn at her place. The two of them plan to go for Prom King and Queen and be together.
In the auditorium, Will gets ready to go over some of the dances for next week's Regionals and make sure they're "Finn-proof". Holly comes by to say goodbye since she's teaching algebra in another township; as well, her methods got a few complaints. Will says that he doesn't want to say goodbye and Holly says that maybe she should try a relationship. She and Will decide that she'll need to learn a bit more about romance.
