Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the beginning of the episode, what does Maeby need to write an essay on?

Answer: The Old Man and the Sea

The family is having their competitor, Stan Sitwell, come to the model home for a meeting, and Michael expects the whole family to be there. When Maeby tells Michael that George Michael is with Ann, he is disappointed. Maeby is also disappointed because George Michael was supposed to help with her essay.
2. What is the name of the supplement that Lindsay is taking?

Answer: Teamocil

Teamocil was a supplement that Tobias, Lindsay, and Maeby promoted while they were members of "Dr. Funke's 100% Natural Good-Time Family Band Solution". The drug was used for better unity and teamwork, but it decreased your sex drive after use.
3. Who was once on a magazine with Lucille?

Answer: Buster

Buster was twelve years old when he appeared on the Balboa Bay Window magazine wearing the matching outfits with his mother. The featured story was called "Why I want to marry my mother", and it has been mocked in the family for many years.
4. What did Stan Sitwell suggest changing the name "Sudden Valley" to?

Answer: Paradise Gardens

Gob, Michael, and Stan Sitwell sit down and talk about joining together to build a new subdivision. When Sitwell suggests changing the name "Sudden Valley", Michael says that he once suggested the same thing to George Sr., but the idea was shot down. George Sr. once again begins shooting down Michael's ideas in order for Michael to feel like he always needs his father's approval.
5. On what day does the softball game occur?

Answer: Saturday

For many years, the Bluth Company and Sitwell's construction company have competed in a baseball game. Sitwell would always try to raise money for underprivileged children, while the Bluth Company only played to show who was better. Gob is offered a position at Sitwell's company and he becomes a member of their team.
6. What does George Michael think of when he hears the name "Sudden Valley"?

Answer: Salad dressing

Michael asks George Michael for his opinions on the name, and when "Paradise Gardens" is suggested, George Michael says that he could marinate a chicken in it. George Michael wants Michael to add Ann to the company's softball team, but Michael thinks that she won't do well.
7. What does Stan Sitwell buy for Gob?

Answer: A baseball glove

After Michael tells Gob to read the six months worth of business proposals he had laid out, Stan Sitwell is impressed with Gob's work (although it is actually Michael's work). Gob is both angry and overwhelmed by the fact that Sitwell had bought him the glove and suggested that they play catch because George Sr. barely played catch with him.

The first time they played together was in prison in the episode "Key Decisions". Unfortunately, Gob was stabbed in the lower back by White Power Bill while playing catch at this time.
8. Whose foot is hit by a falling oven vent in this episode?

Answer: Lindsay's

After assuring his father that the Bluth Company will win the annual baseball game, Michael hist the attic wall and hears a loud crashing noise downstairs. When he makes it downstairs, the oven vent is on the floor and Lindsay's foot is bleeding. Unfortunately, Lindsay has no idea until Michael tells her because her Teamocil is causing numbness in her foot.

When Lindsay asks what team she's playing for, Michael decides to take her off the team. This memory-loss was also a side effect of the Teamocil.
9. Lucille was able to get Buster out of combat training in the army.

Answer: True

By personally visiting her former boyfriend, Bill Armstrong, and singing the song "Downtown" by Petula Clark, she was able to get Buster out of combat training and into USO training. Meanwhile, Michael tells Gob that Sitwell only hired him to win the softball game for his company. Gob decides to throw the softball game for the family.
10. Who does not play in the softball game?

Answer: Maeby

While Maeby and Tobias are at the studio, Maeby manages to become a movie executive when an employee finds her report for "The Old Man and the Sea". At the softball game, Gob tries to throw the game, but after encouraging words from Sitwell he hits a good shot and Ann stops him at home base. George Sr. reveals himself as the umpire to Gob and Michael and Michael gives Sitwell's team the point to show his dad that he's in control of the company now.
