Answer: Gaius Baltar

Baltar can't help but see Number Six, the Cylon who manipulated him into giving the Cylons the access codes to bypass the Colonial's defences. Number Six is still manipulating Baltar, but to what end is a big question.

2. Humans supposedly originated on which planet that Galactica finds?

Answer: Kobol

On Kobol, Galactica discovers ancient ruins and uses the tomb of Athena to find the way to Earth.

3. Besides Galactica, what was the only other Battlestar (to our knowledge) that survived the Cylon attack?

Answer: Battlestar Pegasus

The Galactica finds the Battlestar Pegasus and friction between the two allies quickly ensues, with Helo and Tyrol up for execution because they tried to save Sharon from being abused by an officer.

4. What two actors did the show's creators (Ronald D. Moore and David Eick) envision for their characters before they even started casting?

Answer: Edward James Olmos (Adama) and Mary McDonnell (Roslin)

When casting the show, the producers were looking for actors who were "Olmos type actors" and "McDonnel type actresses". As it turns out, they were able to land the actual people they envisioned for the roles.

They go to Starbuck's house, where they take a breather. Ronald D. Moore proudly boasted that "Battlestar Galactica" was the only show that actually showed its characters just relaxing and doing nothing else.

The fleet was rebelling against him because of the incarceration of the President so he, going against everything that he said he wouldn't do, declares martial law in an attempt to keep the peace. This decision backfires on him in a major way however when the fleet rebels and a splinter fleet is formed.

The audience alone knows that Sharon is a Cylon until she shoots Adama at point blank range. Luckily, she didn't kill the Commander, but knocks him out of action for a couple of episodes. Just as importantly, the crew discovers that their trusted friend is actually a Cylon, spreading fear.

Answer: She broke her word to him

Roslin broke her word to Adama that she would leave all military decisions up to him when she sends Starbuck in the stolen Raider to Caprica to retrieve the Arrow of Apollo. Seeing this as a grave offence and as undermining his authority, Adama sends Marines in to apprehend her.

Answer: Billy's gun accidentally misfiring

Billy's gun misfiring gives Apollo a split second stationary target. He takes out one and destroys the other just as it reaches him.
