Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who appears in William's nightmares?

Answer: His daughter

William finds himself in a destroyed room. Screaming about knowing who's real and who's not, he fires his gun at the furnishings. He looks up to find water dripping from the ceiling and emerges in an overflowing bathtub. He gets to his feet as his daughter, Emily, appears to chastise him for killing her and believing her to be a host.

She asks him how he could possibly know that he's real himself. She asks him if he's free and evil or blamelessly enslaved...or if he could be a host-- another machine.

She tells him to finish the game and hands him a razor blade. As he sits on the edge of the tub, he grips the blade and...awakens. Charlotte arrives and snaps him out of it.
2. Who returns William to his seat on the Delos board?

Answer: Charlotte

Charlotte informs William that the wolf is at the door. In less than twenty hours, a predatory investor-- Serac-- will own too much of Delos. William sold data to Serac twenty years ago and now he wants more. He's fine with giving him the rest though.

The problem is that Serac wants the data from the project in Sector 16, a project no one should know about. Charlotte has a deep-pocket investor who can protect them all, but she needs William's support at an emergency shareholder meeting; his attendance could change everything.

He needs to come back to who he was.
3. Bernard claims that he couldn't infiltrate Liam's firewalls, but he could infiltrate which of these?

Answer: His car service

Bernard seems to be having visions. When Dolores brought him back, he spoke from within the house he once built.
In Victorville, California, Bernard walks to his motel room where Ashley is already waiting. The two worry that Dolores may have already done a lot of work and potentially replaced Liam Dempsey with a host. If this is the case, Bernard can get information from him and deactivate him. Bernard hacked Liam's car service, so they have an in.

Elsewhere, Dolores has Caleb try on some outfits. Before they can make a move, Caleb needs to dress the part. Then, he can speak to the person trying to take his future.
4. In order to properly access Liam's funds, which of these does Dolores need to use?

Answer: Blood

Before Liam heads out to a charity event, Martin stops him in his office and urges him to use his fingerprint for a security measure. In reality, the key will be used to transfer money from Liam's account on Dolores' behalf.

Dolores and Caleb, meanwhile, strike quickly, immediately being able to subdue and knock out an investment banker, take his blood, and put the plasma into Caleb to be able to use as an encryption key. They have about twenty minutes before the markers in the blood degrade. Sure enough, they're able to verify the necessary identity and receive an audience with a teller. They use Liam's key and execute the transfer with minimal effort-- a full account withdrawal.
5. What city was destroyed in a nuclear attack?

Answer: Paris

Serac brings Maeve to Singapore and brings her back online in a bar. She orders a large glass of Sherry and claims he should have brought her to Paris instead. There's a lot she doesn't know though; Paris was wiped off the map, destroyed in a nuclear blast.

But it's an aside. The reason Serac brought Maeve along because she can help him. He created a way to track humankind, but Dolores has the key to a better one. Maeve has a stake in this as well, fortunately, since Dolores also has a key to the world where Maeve sent her daughter; it's in Dolores' mind. Serac brings Maeve to a house in Singapore-- a divergence point-- where they find the machine Dolores used to recreate herself and the host bodies she brought the pearls back for. But there's something else.
6. Serac and Maeve determine that they must locate a man known by what code name?

Answer: The Mortician

In another room, Serac's henchman is dealing blows to an identity broker, a man they believe helped Dolores secure new identities for herself and others. He money she used came from the accounts of a man who drowned in his own swimming pool; they don't know Dolores caused that death.

It takes little to convince the broker to spill the beans. He explains Dolores needed five identities so he sent her to a man known as 'The Mortician'. Serac kills him immediately after getting this info and urges Maeve, once more, to help.

After all, he has an off switch for her.
7. Maeve discovers that Dolores went deeper into the criminal underworld to get help than she thought. She actually sought out who of the following?

Answer: The Yakuza

Maeve navigates the busy Singapore streets alone to hunt down what she needs to find her answers. Her leads take her to an underground club. She's stopped at the door when she asks after The Mortician, but she forces her way in. Once inside, she meets the Mortician but gets very few answers. She does get answers about the blood that allowed Dolores to become Lara Espin, but she's forced to go onward to the Yakuza, who helped Dolores from there.

Elsewhere, William cleans himself up, shaving in a mirror riddled with gunshots. Charlotte offers to help, shaving him with a straight-razor. They talk about the mole and William hypothesizes that Charlotte could be the perpetrator, a notion she brushes off. William finally cleans up and the two depart William's house, but not before William speaks to the vision of Emily one more time, admitting to her that he did what he did.
8. Liam discovers his accounts are empty when he tries to purchase which of these?

Answer: A woman

Liam attends his charity event alone but meets with his friends. They leave him with some high-priced drugs, but there's more going on than he realizes. When trying to purchase a woman from a display platform, Liam discovers that his accounts are compromised and runs off to find Martin. Little does he know, Caleb and Dolores have arrived and they don masks of their own. They aren't there alone though; Bernard and Ashley beat them to the punch. For them, complications arise immediately because when Bernard tries to turn on Liam's diagnostic mode, he quickly finds that he's not a host.
The party seems to come to a crashing halt when Dolores opens fire on the trio. Bernard runs off with Liam (with Caleb in pursuit) while Dolores and Ashley, setting aside any notion of personal differences, engage in a fistfight. It's during this that Liam's friends recognize Dolores as none other than Lara. They think little of it. They're both on the good stuff.
Bernard gets Liam to an escape vehicle, but it allows Caleb to catch up and aim his weapon at Bernard's head to demand the valuable hostage. Martin and his men arrive in the alley, but Martin kills his associates before closing the gap, allowing Liam to run and Caleb to chase after him. It takes Bernard no time to realize that Dolores has worked out this plan; she's keeping Liam in play but she's put someone else into Martin. But who?
Caleb catches up to Liam as Dolores-- known to him as Lana-- reveals herself to him.
9. Who, as Maeve discovers, is inside Musashi's host body?

Answer: Dolores

The Mortician leads Maeve to a distillery just outside Singapore and Maeve uses her powers to grant herself entry. She asks to meet with their leader, Sato, and they turn their guns on her, but the automatic weapons, all with computer-guided aim, are easy to turn on their own wielders.

The easily-won fight allows her to meet with Sato deeper in the facility. Sato isn't who Maeve expects though. He steps out of the shadows and reveals himself to be Musashi, one of the hosts she encountered in ShogunWorld.

He shoots The Mortician before they talk. Maeve realizes that Dolores brought him back as he claims Maeve left the others to die. It's interesting, she realizes, because the actual Mushashi might not be inside the host-- she asks if Dolores placed Teddy inside.
10. To where is William sent at the end of this episode?

Answer: An institution

In three different places, Maeve, Bernard, and William all realize that the hosts they've come across-- Mushashi, Martin, Charlotte-- none of them are the other pearls Dolores smuggled out of the park. Those were decoys. Each one of them is Dolores; each is a clone. If you want to do something right, Mushashi tells Maeve, you need to do it yourself. This is the only way, she says, she can avoid Serac. Maeve and Mushashi commence a fight to the death and Maeve is stabbed through with a samurai sword. 'Sato's' men arrive to remove him from the premises and Maeve is left to die.

Charlotte tells William that it must be a relief to discover that some of his delusions are real. The guards sedate him as she states that he has been deemed mentally unfit to proceed. All of his votes will be passed over to the current acting President of the Delos Corporation-- her. He'll be placed in an institution where he can get the help he needs.

Sitting alone in his room, a vision of Dolores appears before William and asks him if he realizes he's found the center of his maze. He only has one question for her: "Am I me?" Her response: "Welcome to the end of the game."
