That is Bob Crane's voice as the disc jockey in the episode "Static". By far, his best known role is that of Colonel Robert E Hogan in "Hogan's Heroes" in which he starred for six seasons from 1965-1971. Some of this fellow performers in "Hogan's Heroes" were Richard Dawson and Werner Klemperer. Crane was murdered under mysterious circumstances in 1978.

A movie about the life and death of Bob Crane, "Auto Focus", was released in 2002 with Greg Kinnear playing the role of Bob Crane.

The answer to this little riddle is John Astin. While Batman fans may best remember Frank Gorshin as the Riddler, it was John Astin who played the role of the Riddler in season two of "Batman". Astin is also known for his role as Gomez Addams in "The Addams Family".

He was married to Patty Duke for 13 years. His television appearances after "The Addams Family" range from "Gunsmoke" to "Murder She Wrote". Burgess Meredith and Julie Newmar also both played villains in "Batman" and made appearances in the "Twilight Zone"

Howard McNear is known by countless fans of Mayberry as the soft-spoken Floyd Lawson, the town barber. While many television fans remember McNear's performance as Floyd, many people may not remember that McNear left the show for over a year due to having a stroke.

The effects were significant as much of the left side of his body was paralyzed. McNear did return to the show, but the shots of him were done in such a way, that he was often shown sitting down or standing with the support of some device to help him stay upright. McNear left the show in 1967 and passed away two years later.

Ironically the character White portrayed in "Once Upon A Time" is a repairman. He played Carol Burnett's guardian angel in "Cavender is Coming". He also appeared in "The Reluctant Astronaut" with Don Knotts. Interestingly, Gordon Jump also appeared briefly as the Maytag Repairman as well although not with the same success that Jess White did. Dick Wilson portrayed Mr. Whipple in commercials for Charmin toilet paper. White passed away in 1997.

Dabbs Greer also appeared in the "Twilight Zone" episode "Hocus-Pocus and Frisby". Incredibly his first film appearance was in 1938 in "Jesse James" and his last appearance was in "Lizzie Borden" in 2003, a span of 65 years! Greer also starred in numerous episodes of "The Adventures of Superman".

His other television appearances include "The Lone Ranger", "The Rifleman" and "The Fugitive". Greer passed away in 2007 at the age of 90.
