1. What is Dash McKinley's blood type?

Answer: O Positive

This is mentioned in the 1998 episode "She Killed Santa," when Dash was discussing a case prior to DNA testing with a colleague. Part of the identification of victims and perpetrators was by their blood type and Dash argued that that method was not conclusive.

2. How did Maggie Doyle's mother die?

Answer: Cancer

This was before we even met Maggie, so the only family members we saw in the show were her father and brothers.

3. In which episode did Jo Parrish become a Senior Constable?

Answer: "Retribution," Part Two

"Retribution," was a two-part episode (obviously), the first two in the 2004 series. Jo was shown at the beginning of the episode pinning her new name tag on proudly, though not as much so nor as excitedly as she probably would have if her boyfriend PJ had not been arrested for murder in Part One.

4. How old was Kayla Darcy when PJ shot her mother, Raelene, in self-defence?

Answer: 10

This was in the 1996 series. Kayla and her older brother Luke returned to Mt. Thomas in the 2003 series.

5. Sergeant Nick Shultz left Mt. Thomas in 1998, but returned briefly in 2004 and 2005 as a detective in which squad?

Answer: The Homicide Squad

When the show began, Nick was a modest Senior Constable. But in the time since then and when he returned, he had been promoted to Sergeant, became a detective, and joined the Homicide Squad. Mt. Thomas Detective, PJ, however, has been a Detective Senior Constable the whole time.

6. Who caught the bouquet at Nick and Zoe's wedding?

Answer: Maggie

This was in the 1998 episode "Wedding Blues," where Nick and Zoe (a doctor from the Mt. Thomas Hospital) left Mt. Thomas to move to Melbourne. Zoe was initially was going to do a course in Baltimore, USA. Nick initially resigned from the police force to move there with her but he decided he loved the job too much to quit. Thankfully, the boss hadn't forwarded his resignation. Zoe ended up doing her course at Melbourne University.

7. In what year did Samantha Tolj first have a guest spot before returning as Constable Kelly O'Rourke?

Answer: 2000

Samantha played Loelle Dickson for a few episodes. She returned in 2004 (as Kelly).

8. Who was 'Macca,' a recurring character?

Answer: Fiona McKinley

Macca was the niece of Constable Dash McKinley. She was always trying to solve cases (some which didn't exist), particularly when something went on at her school, possibly because she admired her 'Aunty Dash' and thought her profession was fun, fun, fun.

9. Which Melbourne suburb did Nick take a position at when he left Mt. Thomas?

Answer: Fitzroy

He took the Sergeant's position that happened to be available at the perfect time. However, we don't know how long he stayed there because he eventually joined the homicide squad.

10. What are the names of Ben Stewart's children?

Answer: Maddy, Emma and Josh

Ben eventually moved to Perth to be closer to them.
