Vicki Von Vicki Jeans were owned by Vicky Von Vickey, played by Dr. Joyce Brothers. This episode relies heavily on the rhyming of some characters' last names: Vicky Von Vicky, Nikki and Mickey, and the ensuing confusion resulting from fast paced conversations where the characters are addressed by name.

While setting up for the sales presentation, Mr. Carlson suspects that the bartender they hired, Mickey Broadhead, played by Larry Hankin, was actually The Dayton Poisoner whom Les had warned them about. It turns out that Mickey is actually an off duty policeman who is moonlighting as a bartender.

Les Nessman was obsessed with the farm reports, particularly anything involving hogs. Although Les Nessman was a nerdish newsman on 'WKRP', in actuality actor Richard Sanders is a highly educated individual. Sanders was a student at the Carnegie Institute of Technology from 1958-1962. After graduating he studied Shakespearean theater in England on a Fulbright Scholarship. Sanders also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Brazil.

Answer: eleven concert goers were trampled to death

On December 3, 1979 eleven fans at a concert for 'The Who' were trampled to death, and numerous others were injured due to "festival seating." Festival seating allowed seats to be claimed on a first-come-first-served basis. When the waiting crowd heard the band performing a sound check they thought the concert had started and began pushing forward.

The 'WKRP in Cincinnati' episode, 'The Concert' aired on February 11, 1980.

Answer: school teacher

In season four, episode 19 (overall episode numbering episode 87) titled 'The Creation of Venus' it slips that Venus had been a school teacher in New Orleans. Mama Carlson remembers that on his first day Venus stated he had been a top rated DJ in New Orleans, and she wants an explanation. Venus recounts that he was a school teacher and part time DJ whose on air name was The Duke of Funk.

Answer: Carmen

The character of Carmen Carlson was played by Allyn Ann McLerie. She appeared as Carmen in a total of four episodes.

Answer: Lucille

The character of Lucille Tarlek was played by Edie McClurg. She appeared as Lucille in a total of three episodes.

Answer: He was at the Prussian Valley Military Academy

Mr. Carlson's son, "Little" Arthur or Arthur Carlson, Jr. was played by Sparky Marcus. Marcus only appears in one episode, season one, episode 20 titled 'Young Master Carlson'. "Little" Arthur had run away from the Valley Forge Military School where he was flunking out. It is implied that "Little" Arthur is acting out to get his parents' attention.

Answer: Bunny

The character of Bunny Tarlek was played by Stacy Heather Tolkin. Bunny only appeared in two episodes: 'Real Families' and 'Frog Story'. Tolkin's acting career was rather short. Her filmography lists only five items between 1979 and 1985 after which nothing is listed.

Answer: Venus's response times are slowed, but Johnny's are improved.

This story line and two others can be found in 'Fish Story', season one, episode number 21. As the test goes on, it is apparent that Johnny actually becomes more and more sober, which increasingly irritates the state trooper.
