Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the game, there is a little girl named Cereza that you meet as Bayonetta. Later in the game, you find out something about her. What do you find out?

Answer: She is Bayonetta as a child

A pretty obvious answer for anyone who has played the game at least once. It is referred to in the game frequently, especially by Balder, and is a strong point in the plot. While Cereza calls Bayonetta "Mummy", that is only because Bayonetta grown up resembles her own mother.
2. Enzo's car appears in the beginning of the game. He's very protective about it and gets very upset when it gets crushed. What is on the license plate of Enzo's car?

Answer: ED N EDNA

We, in fact, DO see Enzo's license plate. It's sometimes believed to be a "Maniac Mansion" reference.
3. When finding Cereza, Bayonetta says there are two things she hates. One of them is crying babies, which is the other?

Answer: Cockroaches

"If there's two things I hate in this world, it's cockroaches and crying babies!" She says so directly in the game and states that a combination of the both would be terrible.
4. Bayonetta has an assortment of varied weapons with unique capabilities. Including those unlocked by collecting the LPs but NOT buying the copies in the Gates of Hell, how many weapons does Bayonetta have?

Answer: Twelve

She has twelve not including the copies: Handguns, Scarbourough Fair, Onyx Roses, Durga, Odette, Lt. Col. Kilgore, Shuraba, Kulshedra, Bazillions, Pillow Talk, Sai Fung, and Rodin. Fifteen weapons would be including the copies.
5. In the Gates of Hell, there is an item for purchase called the Platinum Ticket. You'll need to buy the ticket for one million halos to get it. After it's bought, who can you fight?

Answer: Rodin as Father Rodin

After buying the Platinum Ticket, you'll then fight Father Rodin in all his power. Madame Styx is the demon whom Jeanne made a pact with. The Infinite One is another name for Father Rodin, but Balder is not the Infinite One. Queen Sheba is the ruler of the Inferno whom you use as Bayonetta to fight against Jubileus.
6. When Luka is talking to Bayonetta, he mentions something about a few women who he's involved with. Their names are in fact references to Capcom video games, but what are their names?

Answer: Ammy, Trish, Claire, and Sylvia

Ammy is a reference to Amaterasu the sun goddess from "Okami". Trish is a reference to the blonde demon from "Devil May Cry". Claire is a reference to Claire Redfield from "Resident Evil 2". Sylvia is a reference to Viewtiful Joe's girlfriend. Even though Luka says they're ladies, they're actually cats according to some concept art.
7. Some things were changed while making the game, this can be seen in the concept art while browsing the extras section when beating the game. Something that changed was Rodin's name. Instead of "Rodin", what was his original name?

Answer: Mephesto

This can clearly be seen in Rodin's concept art. The demon of said name's personality and story fit Rodin a bit more.
8. On Bayonetta's hair are a couple of ribbons, one of which she gives to little Cereza. Looking closer, there are some strange symbols on them. What do these symbols mean?

Answer: Bayonetta

These actually mean "Bayonetta" in a demonic alphabet. This can be seen in the game's art alongside the angelic alphabet.
9. It is possible to play as Jeanne instead of Bayonetta by getting Platinum trophies on the Normal levels or higher. However, while her weapons are practically the same as Bayonetta's, they're different in name. Which one of these is NOT one of Jeanne's weapons?

Answer: Ivory Roses

Jeanne's equivalent is the Garnet Roses to Bayonetta's Onyx Roses, NOT Ivory Roses. The Angel Slayer is the equivalent to the Shuraba. The Vritra is the equivalent to Kulshedra. Karen is the equivalent to Odette.
10. Bayonetta's iconic weapon is the Scarborough Fair. There are four guns, two for hands and two for feet. On each gun is the name of an herb and a gem. Which is the correct herb name and gem color for each hand and foot?

Answer: Right Hand: Green & Parsley; Left Hand: Red & Sage; Left Foot: White & Thyme; Right Foot: Blue & Rosemary

On each gun has its own gem color and says: "Scarborough Fair; Made by Rodin" along with the herb name and a small saying afterwards. They are each copyrighted by Rodin.
