Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. One of the first knights encountered in the game.

Answer: Marcus

Known as Lord Chivalry, Marcus is a military man who was once a settler himself. Like the other five knights, Marcus has an active and passive skill.

When close to troops, Marcus can re-supply them with torches to burn enemy buildings and wooden palisades when the troop has used those they are given when created the barracks. Alternatively troops can be re-supplied with torches at outposts that have either been created by placing a knight in a territory - and claiming it as part of the territory a player can claim. In addition, troops can also capture enemy outposts claiming the territory that is located in for the player.

Marcus' passive skill is that he requires less gold to raise a battalion of swordsmen and archers.

However, unlike some of the other knights Marcus cannot use his passive skills to prevent settlers from going on strike.
2. The knight capable of healing sick settlers.

Answer: Alandra

Know as Lady Healing, Alandra is a devout female knight with a reputation of being able to cure sick settlers. This ability is part of Alandra's active skill, being able to cure sick settlers around her. Along with Marcus, Alandra is one of the first knights a player can choose to send on a particular mission.

As a passive skill, settlers donate more money at the church / cathedral when sermons take place, adding an extra source of income to supplement that raised by the tax collectors and selling excess goods produced by the settlers.

Since Alandra can cure sick settlers her skills are particularly useful to prevent settlers from striking when ill until pharmacies can be built.
3. Knight who deals in trading goods.

Answer: Elias

Elias is first encountered in the second mission of the game whilst raising a settlement in Challia. Know as Lord Trade, Elias rides a donkey rather a horse like the other knights encountered in the game.

Since the primary role of Elias is dealing in goods, he can often get better deals when trading with other settlements on goods they produce or are sold to those settlements as his passive skill.

As an active skill, Elias can provide hungry settlers with food when there is a shortage of food.
4. Mercenary Knight capable of stealing money from the enemy.

Answer: Kestrel

Know as Lady Plunder, Kestrel is a mercenary knight encountered in the third mission of the game in an area known as Gallos. Initially, the knight chosen for the mission has to buy the help of Kestrel and her mercenaries. When the mission is complete Kestrel joins the group of knights you can select for future missions.

As an active skill, Kestrel can plunder gold from buildings without being noticed. In addition, thieves can also be raised in later missions to do this or steal goods from enemy storehouses.

As a passive skill, the tax collectors gain more gold under Kestrel, increasing the settlements revenue. However, these skill can reduce the happiness of the settlers due to lack of wealth.
5. Viking warrior otherwise known as Lord Song.

Answer: Thordal

Thordal is first encountered in the fifth mission to Drengir. A Narlindir Viking, Thordal is known as Lord Song for his active ability to entertain settlers who are striking through lack of entertainment, including taverns.

As a passive skill, when festivals are held, more settlers find spouses. With regards to skills Thordal is the least useful of all the knights available to the player.
6. An emissary knight from an Eastern kingdom.

Answer: Hakim

First encountered in mission 4 located in Narfang, Hakim is an emissary from an eastern empire. Held prisoner, he joins the other knights when freed from his prison.

As an active skill Hakim can convert enemy troops to fight for him. This skill is particularly useful in later stages of the game due to the limited amount of swordsmen and archers that can be raised through the barracks the player can construct. As such with Hakim, the player can build up a far larger army.

Hakim's passive skill is that under him, settlers need fewer resources to construct buildings.
7. Enemy dictator who must be defeated.

Answer: The Red Prince

Known as The Red Prince, this character is first seen in the game at the end of the fourth mission to Narfang in a video clip when he is informed by his second in command - Crimson Sabatt - that he has a rival.

A cruel tyrant, The Red Prince cares little for those under him, including the settlers. In addition. The Red Prince cares little for Crimson Sabatt and her efforts to please him.

It is only in the final mission to conquer Rossortorres when The Red Prince is captured that the character finally be defeated.
8. The enemy ruler's second-in-command.

Answer: Crimson Sabatt

As the second-in-command for the Red Prince, Crimson Sabatt controls his armies and territories. She also appears in various video clips through the game with the Red Prince. In addition, Crimson Sabatt is seen in one video clip bribing a knight to defect.

Although the choice of the knight to defect is random, it is generally a knight that is not selected by a player during the game for a particular mission.

Crimson Sabatt is only captured at the end of mission fourteen to take the city of Guerrana.
9. Title of the ruler of Tios.

Answer: Castellan

Encountered on the tenth mission, the Castellan of Tios is a ruler of a once great city that has fallen on hard times. Torn apart by corruption, the mission involves the knight selected rebuilding the city whilst aiding the Castellan in organizing a tournament.

Throughout the mission, the Castellan appears making requests for various things such as items and money to stage the tournament.

Like a number of other minor characters in the game the person is depicted as the Castellan is also used to represent other people in various mission scenarios.
10. Viking ruler of Seydiir.

Answer: Grandmother of Grandmothers

Like the Castellan of Tios, the image of the Grandmother of Grandmothers is used to represent other Viking rulers encountered in the game.

In the eighth mission of the game, the knight selected must compete against Crimson Sabatt in supplying the Grandmother of Grandmothers with gold, woolen clothes, smoked fish and finally siege engine parts. Whoever supplies the Grandmother of Grandmothers with three out of the four items is declared the victor with the other banished from the Viking kingdom.

However, the player can still win the game by supplying the Grandmother of Grandmothers with two items she requests.
