Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What 'anti-gravity' food does Conker eat to regain health?

Answer: Chocolate

Invented by Professor Von Kriplespac, the Anti-Gravity Chocolate serves as Conker's means of regaining health. A block of chocolate represents his overall health, with a square (or squares) disappearing when he takes damage, and a square being added when he eats chocolate. Conker's maximum health is 6 squares of chocolate. Two types of chocolate can be found in the game: one type that reappears after time, and one that doesn't.
2. What object appears over Conker's head when he stands in a 'context sensitive' area?

Answer: Light bulb

Context sensitive areas allow Conker to perform an action that he cannot do normally, but is relevant to the area he is near, like pulling a far-too-big thing out of his far-too-small pocket. Most context sensitive areas are marked with a large pad with a 'B' on it, representing the button to press on the Nintendo 64 controller.

However, not every context sensitive area has this pad. Conker will know that he is in this type of area when a light bulb appears above his head. For example, one of the first context sensitive areas of the game is next to a tunnel blocked by a boulder. Conker pulls out a detonator from his pocket and blows up the boulder to proceed.
3. What is Birdy?

Answer: Scarecrow

When Conker awakens after his drunken night out, Birdy the Scarecrow is the first thing he sees. Birdy plays a somewhat important role in the game, as he introduces Conker to the concept of context sensitive areas. Conker mistakes his name for Beardy initially, a reference to a programmer who worked for Rare with the same nickname.
4. Why is the Panther King angry?

Answer: He has a broken table

In the opening scene of the game, the Panther King is shown to be angry because the table next to his throne is missing a leg. He cannot put his glass of milk on it without it falling over and smashing. The solution to the problem is having a squirrel act as a table leg, so the Panther King sends his minions to capture Conker.
5. In which chapter will you see a parody of "The Matrix"?

Answer: The Heist

The Heist chapter is the final chapter of the game, in which Conker and Berri try to rob the vault of a bank for Don Weaso. The bank section of the chapter parodies "The Matrix", with Conker being able to jump out from behind columns and spin in mid-air whilst firing his guns using a context sensitive pad.

However, once he and Berri reach the vault, the Panther King and the Professor are waiting for them. The Professor reveals that there is a xenomorph inside the Panther King, which bursts out of his chest, directly parodying the film "Alien".
6. The overworld of the game is named what?

Answer: Windy

Windy is the name of the second chapter of the game, and also the name of the overworld from which all other chapters can be accessed. The name of the area presumably gets its name from the iconic windmill in the centre, which gets destroyed following the events of the It's War chapter.
7. The Experiment is a boss in which chapter?

Answer: It's War

After the Little Girl lures Conker and Rodent into the trap, the Experiment appears and tries to kill them both. The Experiment is a giant, spider-legged robotic Tedi with the Little Girl (who turns out to be a puppet) on the end of one arm. Using a powerful arsenal of weapons, the Experiment tries to kill Conker and Rodent, who try to stop it by shooting it with the Class 22 Tank. Once it is defeated, a countdown begins, indicating the Tediz Base will self-destruct.
8. What is the name of the pub that Conker drinks at at the beginning of the game?

Answer: The Cock and Plucker

The Cock and Plucker appears in the opening scene of the game, as well as in the closing scene of the game. It also serves as the backdrop for the main menu. Inside the pub, various characters from this game as well as other games can been seen. For example, above the fireplace is a statue of Banjo, and Kazooie appears as the end of an umbrella, two characters from another series by Rare.
9. What is the Grim Reaper's name?

Answer: Gregg

When Conker dies for the first time, he appears before Gregg the Grim Reaper, who tells Conker that he can avoid death by collecting squirrel tails. Gregg is a stereotypical grim reaper - a skeletal figure dressed in black with a scythe. He appears to have quite a hatred of cats, as he complains about how they have nine lives.

He tells Conker that squirrels can have as many lives as they think they can get away with.
10. Does Conker become king at the end of the game?

Answer: Yes

After defeating Heinrich the xenomorph with a katana (the game locks up and Conker asks the programmers for some weapons to kill Heinrich with), Conker realises that he forgot to ask the programmer to bring his girlfriend Berri back to life. He is crowned king of all the land, but he is unhappy. Drowning his sorrows in many beers, he stumbles out of the Cock and Plucker, just as he did at the beginning of the game, but this time, he walks off in the opposite direction to Windy.
