Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the original "Submachine", how do you obtain Tile C?

Answer: Enter the code found on the coin in the console which protects a chest

In the first "Submachine", your goal is to obtain tiles to place on a wall plate in one of the rooms, making your way out to the end of the game. There are four tiles to collect.
2. What item can you obtain in the remix version of the original "Submachine" that is not present in the original?

Answer: Wisdom gem

The remix version of "Submachine" has additional rooms compared to the original, and a few more puzzles. the most notable thing about this version, however, is the Wisdom gem, which is put without explanation in your inventory at the start of "Submachine 2" (the remix version of "Submachine" came out after the second part, thus somewhat explaining the mystery).
3. What do you see in front of you at the start of "Submachine 2"?

Answer: An arcade game machine

"Submachine 2" starts with a black-and-white image of the ending scene from the previous game, then zooming out, revealing the first room, and the arcade machine. There is a sketch drawing of a lighthouse to be found throughout the game, needed to be looked at for a certain clue.
4. As revealed in "Submachine 2", what is the name of Murtaugh's cat?

Answer: Einstein

5. "Submachine 3" has two possible endings.

Answer: True

Depending on how you beat the last puzzle, you get either the "good" or "bad" ending. "Submachine 3" is quite different from the rest of the series, with almost no collectable items to be found, and the game playing out in more of a stage based system, rather than being just one big location to escape from.
6. What is the starting location in "Submachine 4"?

Answer: A roof

You start off on a roof of a certain place. Unlike the previous games, you have a small tutorial of sorts to guide you trough the first few steps of the game, afterwards leaving you to figure out how to get to the end, whereas the previous games would simply drop you right into the game.
7. What is the prequel game to the "Submachine" series?

Answer: "Submachine Zero"

Although released after the first game, "Submachine Zero" serves a a prequel to the series. It's set in a temple ruin like environment, and is shorter compared to most games in the series.

Answer: 32

"32 Chambers" is a spin-off title in the series. The thirty-two chambers are first referred to in "Submachine 4", in a diary page in one of the rooms.
9. What are the coordinates for the Root area in "Submachine 5"?

Answer: 552

This is revealed when you turn on and look at the PC near the start of "Submachine 5". 747 is the Corridor area and 001 is the lab (also revealed from the PC).
10. What does FLF stand for in "Submachine: FLF"?

Answer: Future Loop Foundation
