He is the point of the story; without him you would still be in the vault right now. Also, he was actually not born in the vault. He was born outside as a scientist, but moved to the vault when your mom was pregnant with you.

2. When you finally leave the vault and arrive at the city of Megaton, who is the person that greets you?

Answer: Lucas Simms

Lucas Simms grew up with his dad watching old cowboy movies, he has since then taking up the title of Sheriff of Megaton. He has also named his robot "deputy Weld". He is also the judge of Megaton (even though no one really elected him).

3. Who is the police chief in Rivet City?

Answer: Harkness

He turns out to be a robot who escaped from the Commonwealth in "The Replicated Man". He had his mind erased and is now in denial about being a robot.

4. Who is the head of the slavers at Paradise Falls?

Answer: Eulogy

He has two slave women following around and if you have a low enough Karma you can buy one to fight for you for a steep fee. Also, he can sell you kids in the mission "Paradise Falls".

5. In the main quest line, you will meet a group called the Brotherhood of Steel. Who is the leader (last name only, not position of power)?

Answer: Lyons

Elder Lyons is the leader. He naturally has his own ideas about how things should be run, but thanks to that about half of the BOS has defected and formed a group called the outcasts.

6. Who runs the Muddy Rudder bar in Rivet City?

Answer: Belle

Belle is probaly one of the oldest residents on the ship; she can help you in the quest "Wasteland Survival Guide". Also, you can find her life savings under her cot in her room.

7. To get the experimental MIRV from the coastguard HQ, what family's holotapes do you have to find to get the code?

Answer: Kellers

There are five holotapes spread around the Capital Wasteland in the most random of all places. Once you get them all you have to go to the National Guard Post in the outskirts of Washington DC.

8. What is title that all NPCs that don't have dialogue have?

Answer: Residents

These are just generic characters that don't do anything but add some life to the city that you are visiting. There faces regenerate every time you enter the city again.

9. When you have to get the Declaration of Independence from the State Capital Building, what is the other bounty hunter's name?

Answer: Sydney

She is actually a whore who turned into a bounty hunter. After the quest she goes to underworld and sets up the ONLY ammo shop in the whole Capital Wasteland. If she dies in the mission, you get the full reward but no ammo shop later.

10. What is the "president's" name?

Answer: John Henry Eden

He is actually a robot. He has been running the country through radio broadcasts, and even though they just repeat themselves over and over again he still seems to have a lot of impact with other people.
