Answer: Sawed-Off Shotgun

The Kneecapper is an upgraded version of the generic Sawed-Off Shotgun. It has less durability than the normal shotgun yet it reloads much faster.

2. Another unique and powerful weapon, Ol' Painless, can be found in the Republic of Dave. What model weapon is it based on?

Answer: Hunting Rifle

It is stronger, it reloads faster, and it fires faster than the ordinary rifle. Dave keeps it in an unpickable safe in the corner of his office.

3. Vampire's Edge is a unique sword based off of the Chinese Officer's Sword model. What character owns this special weapon?

Answer: Vance

Vance, who follows the ways of the vampire (fittingly), possesses the Vampire's Edge. He keeps it in a sword cabinet in his bedroom. The Vampire's Edge is only slightly superior to the ordinary Chinese Officer's Sword but it's nice to have as a collector's item.

Answer: Blackhawk

The Blackhawk is a very powerful handgun based on the Scoped .44 Magnum model. It is incredibly powerful, it zooms in very well for a small gun, and it has a very high critical hit rate. This is a must have!

5. Our good friend Butch from Vault 101 carries a unique weapon called Butch's Toothpick. What model weapon is it based on?

Answer: Switchblade

As you might expect from a wannabe gangster like Butch, he carries an upgraded version of the switchblade. Butch's Toothpick is strong in comparison, however, as it is about twice as powerful as an ordinary switchblade.

6. One of the most powerful weapons in "Fallout 3" is the unique weapon known as Vengeance. What model weapon is it based on?

Answer: Gatling Laser

This weapon is pretty devastating. Unfortunately, acquiring it is no easy task. You have to traverse through the terrifying Deathclaw Sanctuary in order to obtain it. Is it worth it? Yes it is.

7. Some weapons in "Fallout 3" do not have any unique weapons based on their generic models. Which of the following weapons does NOT share a model with a unique weapon?

Answer: Baseball Bat

Sadly, the baseball bat has no unique weapon based on it. The Break is a unique version of the Pool Cue that can be found in Paradise Falls. The Highway Man's Friend is a unique version of the Tire Iron and it is located in Canterbury Commons. Finally, Occam's Razor is a unique version of the Combat Knife and the commander of the Talon Company wields it.

8. What deadly unique weapon is wielded by the High Plains Drifter in the Dickerson Tabernacle Chapel?

Answer: Reservist's Rifle

This is arguably the best sniper rifle in the game. Unlike a normal sniper rifle, each magazine contains three rounds instead of five. However, it is quite a bit more powerful than the generic sniper rifle and has a higher critical hit rate than the other unique sniper rifle, the Victory Rifle.

9. What is the name of the unique and brutal weapon that the merchant Smiling Jack holds deep in the caverns of Evergreen Mills?

Answer: The Terrible Shotgun

Though it is fairly inaccurate and its durability drops quickly, The Terrible Shotgun is just a vicious as it sounds. You'd be hard pressed to find anything that could survive a couple of VATS headshots with this gun.

10. Which immensely powerful unique weapon can be accessed in the National Guard Depot if you have located all of the Keller Family Transcripts?

Answer: Experimental MIRV

The Experimental MIRV is basically a Fat Man on steroids. Not only does this weapon use Mini Nukes as it's ammunition, but it can fire eight at a time! Good luck finding an enemy that can survive that onslaught, or better yet, good luck avoiding the blast radius yourself.
