Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How many different Support Materia are there?

Answer: Thirteen

The thirteen Support Materia are Added Cut, Added Effect, All, Counter, Elemental, Final Attack, HP Absorb, MP Absorb, MP Turbo, Quadra Magic, Magic Counter, Sneak Attack and Steal as Well. The best among these are Final Attack paired with Phoenix, Quadra Magic and Counter.
2. Where might you expect to fight a Kyuvildens?

Answer: Mt. Nibel

Kyuvildens are those little, green, grasshopper-like monsters that constantly use Lay Flat. Although Kyuvildens can easily destroy you at low levels, they give off quite a bit of EXP, especially when the come in groups.
3. What can you morph a Vlakorados into?

Answer: Elixir

This is actually an excellent way to quickly gain Elixirs, since at high levels, a Vlakorados' HP does not look nearly as intimidating as when you previously fought one. Vlakorados' are those red dinosaurs that you found near Bone Village.
4. Which of these monsters can you not steal a Tranquilizer from?

Answer: Flapbeat

Headbombers, Head Hunters and Cuahls all have Tranquilizers, fresh for the stealing. You can steal a T/S Bomb from Flapbeats. Stealing proves to be very helpful in this game, as it will reward you with various items and pieces of equipment, including the almighty Ziedrich.
5. How much gil can you sell a mastered Luck Plus materia for?

Answer: 1,050,000

1,050,000 gil is a lot of gil and Luck Plus is a rather useless materia, as it raises luck and in my experience, raising luck does nothing. This is the second highest amount of money you can get by selling. The highest are All, Magic Plus and Speed Plus which can all be sold for 1.4 million gil!
6. On Disk 1, what can you trade for 1,600 Battle Points at the Battle Arena?

Answer: Bird Wing

An Enemy Lure can be gotten for 800 Battle Points (250 Battle Points on disk 2/3), a Mimmet Greens can be gotten only on disk 1 for 400 Battle Points and a Right Arm can only be gotten on disk 2/3 for 500 Battle Points. Bird Wings are rather weak and pretty useless, so save your hard-earned Battle Points for other, more useful things.
7. Which of the following abnormal statuses can not be recovered with the "Angel Whisper" Enemy Skill?

Answer: Slow-numb

Stop, Petrify and Confusion can all be healed with Angel Whisper. This Enemy Skill is amazing, as it brings back a dead party member to full HP, it heals to full HP and removes nearly EVERY status abnormality in the game at the cost of only 50 MP! It's a pity you can only learn it near the end of the game.
8. How many units cost more then 450 gil in the Fort Condor game?

Answer: Six

These are Shooters (520 gil), Repairers (480 gil), Stoners (480 gil), Tri-Stoners (1,000 gil), Catapults (480 gil) and Fire Catapults (600 gil). Although the stronger units are rather expensive, they are very powerful. Try putting 10 Tri-Stoners in a straight line. You will massacre your enemies and it will be good for a laugh.
9. How many items can be found in the Cave of the Gi?

Answer: Seven

These are the Added Effect Materia, a Black M-Phone, an Ether, an X-Potion, a Turbo Ether, a Fairy Ring and a Gravity Materia. All these are great items that you should take some time to get.
10. How many different items (not materia, weapons, armor, accesories or Key Items) are there in "Final Fantasy 7"?

Answer: 106

Now I'm not going to go list them all, but I can assure you, there are 106 different items. Remember, I asked for items only, no materia, weapons, armor, accesories or Key Items. If I did include them all, the answer would have been terribly higher.
