Tifa wonders on the cliffs with Cloud, who is unaware Tifa likes him. This takes place before the fight with Sephiroth. You're outside North Cave. The other characters have gone to see their loved ones.

It is said after he joins your clan and is discovered in the mansions basement. He hid away in his coffin and joins your clan to seek revenge on the Turks as he used to be member. You find this out when you question him in his coffin.

It is said in a conversation after taking with Jessie on the way to the next reactor. They are talking as they look at the blue screen on the hijacked train. They are looking at blueprints of the reactor.

The main character's name hasn't been mentioned yet. Barret doesn't know your name either yet as you haven't been asked to enter it. You are asked to enter your name just before your first battle.

She, Cloud and Barrett are scaling the side stairs at the Shinra Corp. at this point. Rufus doesn't come into play until you reach the top of the building. When you reach the top the president has been killed and you battle Rufus. After he is seriously inflicted with damage he flies off in a chopper.
