Saria is Link's life long friend. The Fairy Ocarina is given to you when you leave Kokiri Forest for the first time on the bridge, but all this happens after beating Gohma, and receiving the Kokiri Emerald.

2. How much rupees is the Wooden Shield in the Kokiri Store?

Answer: 40

The Wooden Shield is bought from the store in Kokiri Forest. This is when you are told to get a sword and shield, so you can journey to The Great Deku Tree. If you don't have the equipment needed, Mido won't let you pass.

3. What is said to happen to Kokiri people who leave Kokiri Forest?

Answer: Their lives will come to an end

If you stand at the entrance/exit of Kokiri Forest, there is a sign stating that Kokiri People cannot leave the forest. If leave the forest, their life comes to an end, but Link can leave as he is a Hylian and not a Kokiri.

When he explains to you he has been cursed, he lets you in so you can defeat Gohma. There is a lot of confusion about how the entrance is formed, but he opens his mouth to let Link enter.

Answer: There is none

That's right, there's no Mini-Boss; there isn't even a boss key (or any key in fact). The Mini-Boss of Dodongo's Cavern is two Lizardfos, and in Jabu-Jabu's Belly there is Big Octo.

7. What is the secret order to defeat the Dekus to get into the Boss Room of the first dungeon?

Answer: 2 3 1

As you continue your way through the dungeon you defeat a Deku, telling you an order to beat the Deku's in the room before the boss room. As a result of completing this order, you are let inside Gohma's Room.

8. Who gives you the Kokiri Emerald?

Answer: The Great Deku Tree

The Great Deku Tree gives it to you before he dies. He then tells you to journey to Hyrule Castle, and see Princess Zelda. He also tells you to rid the land of evil and darkness.

9. Who curses The Great Deku Tree?

Answer: All of these

It is all of these, because the are the same person, just with different names given. Ganondorf is his real name, and you will find these names given to him throughout the game.

10. What are the last words of The Great Deku Tree?

Answer: "I entreat ye...Navi...Good...Bye"

These were his last words before he died. Even though you saved him he knew long before you entered, he was doomed by the curse. He then loses colour and dies.
