Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What will you hear when you start "Runescape" in Tutorial Island (or Newbie Island)?

Answer: Newbie Melody

'Harmony' is the music in Lumbridge, where you start in the mainland from the Newbie Island. 'Scape Newbie' doesn't exist, and neither does 'Tutorial Island'. 'Newbie Melody' is played at the start when you are dressing up your new character.
2. What will you hear when you are mining rune essence?

Answer: Rune Essence

This is pretty straight forward- 'Rune Essence' while you mine rune essence. When mining in Al Kharid it's 'Arabian2', while mining in a cave, it's 'Cave Background' and 'The Shadow' is played while mining in Crandor (infested with moss giants). Many people in the past get very rich through mining rune essence and selling them at 30-40 gold each.

The music in the mining guild is Cave Background. You need a level of 60 Mining to enter.
3. Which of these is not a random event music?

Answer: Peasant

For corrections, it's 'Pheasant Peasant'. It's at a random event where you catch pheasants to get lederhosen costumes. 'Artistry' is found in the mime random event, where black and white costumes that many high levels wear are the rewards. 'Evil Bob's Island' is found in a fishing minigame, where you have to look for the right fishing spot to catch fish and cook them. 'Time Out' is found in the maze random event.
4. You can hear 'Zealot' in the Lumbridge Swamps.

Answer: False

You can hear 'Book of Spells/Yesteryear' in Lumbridge Swamps. To listen to 'Zealot', it is in the water temple. To get in any runecrafting temples, a tiara or a talisman of that type of temple is needed. For tiaras, you have to put it on your head and when you see the Myterious Ruins, just click it. For talismans, you have to click on it to use it then click on the Mysterious Ruins.
5. Which of these music was once in Barbarian Village?

Answer: Dark

For those who doesn't know, the music 'Dark' once belonged to Barbarian Village, then came in 'Barbarianism', which took up roughly 50% of Barbarian Village, so soon everywhere you go, you'll hear 'Barbarianism'. 'Dark' isn't missing. It is in the wilderness level 19+. 'Attack2' is in the Crandor Dungeon, 'Starlight' is in the Ice Warrior and Ice Golem dungeon and 'Flute Salad' is northwest of Lumbridge.
6. Which of these is the odd one out?

Answer: Workshop

'Workshop' can not be heard in the wilderness (unless you selected it), while 'Lightness', is in somewhere in the grey wilderness. The rest are also from the wilderness. 'Crystal Sword' is found at one of the most famous PvP areas, the north of Varrock, and 'Forbidden' is somewhere north of Jolly Boar Inn (there's plenty of rats there).
7. Fill in the blanks for this song: M _ _ _ s A _ _ _.

Answer: Miles Away

'Miles Away' is found in the Crafters' Guild, the area with a lot of gold and silver to mine. You will need a level of 40 crafting to enter the Crafters' Guild, excluding the cow farm which anyone can enter. It is next to the Melzar's Maze.
8. What is the order of songs on the air rune runecrafting route (from any Falador bank to any Falador bank)?

Answer: Workshop -> Nightfall -> Serene -> Nightfall -> Workshop

Normally people will use the RIGHT bank for runecrafting air runes. At the right bank (because it is nearer, no mistakes if gone from left), you will hear 'Workshop', then when leaving Falador to the mysterious ruins (air), you will listen to 'Nightfall'.

In the temple, you will hear 'Serene'. 'Fanfare' can be heard in most part of Falador, but very seldom in runecrafting air runes. Route "Fanfare -> Workshop -> Nightfall -> Workshop -> Fanfare" is wrong because though you came from the left bank and leave Falador though the south entrance and go back, but you haven't visited the temple yet!
9. What is the first song in the Runescape music list? (note: NON-MEMBERS)

Answer: Adventure

'7th Realm' is right IF it is only for members. So, the right answer for this question is not '7th Realm', but 'Adventure'. A non-member could simply check this out if they log in and see the first green word in the list - 'Adventure'.
10. Which group is the odd one out?

Answer: 'Tomorrow' and 'Scape Santa'

'Scape Santa' is on the log in menu and 'Tomorrow' is in game. The rest are linked in some way. For example if you come from Lumbridge "forest", and then go down past the fence, if you see some swampy area, that's where you can hear 'Book of Spells'. Then go right to the coal mining area, that's where you can listen to 'Yesteryear'.
