1. Which of these characters is not met in Potos village, or any areas near there that you are eventually banished from?

Answer: Luka

Luka is the sage of the Water Palace. Elliott and Timothy are your foster brothers, and Jema is a knight that you meet in Potos Village.

2. Which of these is not an element in "Secret of Mana"?

Answer: Solar

Lunar is represented by Luna, Tree is represented by Dryad, and Light is represented by Lumina. The other five elements are Earth, Fire, Water, Wind, and Darkness.

3. Yes or No: Is it possible to get back into Potos Village once you've been banished by any means?

Answer: Yes

It is difficult to figure out, but possible. Once you acquire all members of your party, go back to where the guard stands. Walk around as if you are trying to find a way around him. Eventually, one of the party members will go above him. Switch characters, and you're in!

4. What is the name of the creature who flies you around starting toward the middle of the game?

Answer: Flammie

Flammie is named by King Truffle of Matango. Because of the king's status, the king does not ask the player's permission to name this beast.

5. Who is the boyfriend of the lady who joins your group?

Answer: Dyluck

Geshtar and Thanatos are enemies. Dyluck is comparable to her knight in shining armor.

6. The citizens of Matango resemble two enemies. Name one.

Answer: Mushboom

In spite of the hearts on their caps, Mushboom and Mushgloom are not friendly. Mushboom is found early in the game and has an annoying little habit of making your character pass out. Mushgloom is found toward the end of the game.

7. What is the final magic learned in the game?

Answer: Mana Magic

This magic, learned through Dryad, is not available until the final boss, the Mana Beast. It's very helpful, although not necessary to complete the game.

8. Who is the blacksmith in the game?

Answer: Watts

All of these have to do with electricity, but Watts is the blacksmith. He will forge each weapon for you up to eight times.

9. How many different versions of each weapon are attainable in the game?

Answer: 9

For those that picked eight, you must not be familiar with the hidden energy orbs in the Mana Fortress. A hint is provided in Watts' shop, where the eighth stage of each weapon still has a price, suggesting it can still be upgraded.

10. Who is the emperor in charge of the enemies (Sheex, Fanha...) in the game?

Answer: Vandole

He leads Sheex, Geshtar, Fanha, and Thanatos in reviving the Mana Fortress. Vandole never gets to taste the fruit of his work.
