Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Burn posters in the Mountain Base.

Answer: Non-Believer

The sole challenge in the Mountain Base section of the game, the Non-Believer task has Lara removing religious propaganda from the walls of the otherwise dangerous in-mountain lair of some of the island's cultists. By this point in the game, Lara won't be able to use the Firestarter (she gets that shortly after), so she'll need to use flaming barrels laying around to ignite the red posters found throughout.

There are five in total.
2. Completed in the Summit Forest.

Answer: Redcap Roundup

There are ten Redcap Mushrooms found around the Summit Forest, and they're one of the smaller collectibles to be found for any of the side-challenges in the game, so toggling into Instinct Mode to catch out these hidden specks might be critical. All of these can be found on the ground as they're just small patches of wild mushrooms though some of them need to be reached by climbing the cliffs around the perimeter of the map.

They can, generally, be anywhere though, including next to bridges, by water, and beside the helicopter crash site.
3. Completed in the same location as Illumination.

Answer: Egg Poacher

Both Illumination and Egg Poacher are completed in the first major hub area of the map-- Mountain Village-- and neither of them can be completed from the get-go because Lara has to travel around the first act of the game collecting necessary items and reaching specific vantage points. For Egg Poacher, she needs to search the area for birds nests to collect eggs (only five of them) while in Illumination she has to light shrines with her torch or Firestarter (there are ten of those).
4. Burn the Chrysanthemum Banners.

Answer: Previous Inhabitants

Much like in the Mountain Base, Lara's goal here is to use fire to burn away banners (in this case they have abstract flower designs). The bonus for this one is the fact that Lara goes into the area with both the Firestarter (to create a torch at any point in time) and Fire Arrows to destroy the posters from a distance.

There are only four posters in this area making this one of the easiest side-challenges to complete in the way of numbers.
5. Completed in the same location as Cairn Raider.

Answer: Minesweeper

Minesweeper can be a bit frustrating. Both of these side-challenges are found on Shipwreck Beach, and while one involves dismantling small, hard-to-find gravesites along the shore, Minesweeper requires a bit of scanning along the beaches of the island. To complete this one, Lara has to shoot active mines that can be found both in the choppy surf of the sea and in a few key points in the sand along the shore. Nearly any weapon will do the trick but, of course, they will explode.

There are ten in total for Minesweeper and five cairns for Cairn Raider.
6. Shoot and break ten Skull Totems.

Answer: Ghost Hunter

The first side-challenge to be achievable during the course of the game, Ghost Hunter is open to Lara's capabilities as early as the Coastal Forest once she's obtained her bow. The goal with this one is to destroy all hanging skulls found throughout the area.

The pick up easily in Instinct Mode, but they are smaller than most items on the map, so things can get a bit tricky if you're not looking close enough. Lara needs to have full ability to reach the gates to the Mountain Temple to collect all the Skull Totems, so she'll need to gain entry to the bunker to finish this.
7. Ignite the corpse bags.

Answer: Firestarter

Completed in the Geothermal Caverns, this challenge is a bit more gruesome than most since it requires that Lara search the crevasses and ceilings of this dark cave area to find six burlap sacks (they blend in!) containing dead bodies. When all six of them have been shot with a Fire Arrow, they'll ignite and burn away. Most of these are found in the thrall pit, but some are hidden a bit later on in the area and could easily be tougher to find in the midst of all the cultist encounters.
8. One of two challenges found in the Shanty Town.

Answer: Silencer

Silencer shares the Shanty Town area with the Laid to Rest side-challenge and it involves locating four alarm devices aimed in different spots around the gondola towers in the area's latter half. All Lara needs to do is stand next to them to pry them apart, and since there are only four it's one of the easiest challenges to complete (due to the numbers).

The Laid to Rest challenge is a bit more involved since Lara has to locate effigies around the entire Shanty Town (seven of them in total) and burn them away with Fire Arrows to complete the task.
9. The last challenge to be found in the game.

Answer: Sun Killer

If you've been an ardent completionist, then you'll be coming into contact with this challenge last, and it's a tougher one. Found in the Research Base, Lara needs to shoot five small sun-shaped relics to destroy them. These will show up in Instinct Mode, but they're sharp, thin points of interest, so locating five of them across this stretch of map can be tougher than one would anticipate.

This said, once all of these are destroyed, provided you've taken steps to find all the other items in the game, you shouldn't have any more to collect; the remainder of the story takes place elsewhere on the island and there's no real coming-back from that.
10. Completed in the Mountain Temple.

Answer: Pyromaniac

The second challenge Lara can come across, Pyromaniac takes place in one of the smaller stretches of the map as she navigates her way upwards through fiery ruins of the Mountain Temple and into the Mountain Village. The goal here is to be a part of the problem by using the bow and arrow (or the handgun) to shoot five hanging lanterns, most of which are suspended off the edges of buildings throughout the area.
