Answer:

"Tomb Raider", published by Eidos Interactive, was released in 1996. Initially, the game was exclusive to the Sega Saturn, but it was soon made available on other platforms such as the PlayStation, and it was also released for personal computers.

The game revolves around Lara Croft, an archaeologist and adventurer, and is spread over fifteen levels. The first part of the game takes place in Peru, where the first level is Caves, followed by City of Vilcabamba, Lost Valley, and Tomb of Qualopec. Next are five levels in Greece, three in Egypt, and three in Atlantis.

The game starts off in Caves. Lara is employed by Jacqueline Natla to journey to the Andes mountains in Peru to find an artefact called the Scion, which is located in the Tomb of Qualopec somewhere in the mountains. With a guide by her side, Lara reaches a massive pair of stone doors that serve as the entrance to an ancient Incan civilisation. She climbs to the top of the doors and discovers a hidden switch that opens them. Suddenly, a pack of fierce wolves attacks from inside the cave. Lara jumps down and kills the wolves with a rapid burst of pistol shots. Unfortunately, she is too late to save her guide, who lies dead in the snow. Now alone, Lara ventures into the caves, searching for the village of Vilcabamba.

Lara is very fit. She is capable of running, jumping, swimming, and diving and is highly skilled with firearms and weapons. As she progresses through the levels, she encounters various obstacles that block her path and must solve puzzles and uncover secrets. She will also confront numerous enemies, such as Cowboy, Skater Boy, and Bald Guybats. Also in the game, she will have encounters with bears, snakes, giant gorillas, and even a T-rex.

The last stage of the game and the final level is the Great Pyramid (Atlantis). Here, Lara has to beat the Legless Mutant and destroy the Scion.

In my opinion, this game was one of the best ever produced. I played this game with my son from the start to the end and spent many hours having fun.
