1. How many characters have an air throw?

Answer: Three

Chun Li, Ibuki, and Oro have air throws. Hugo jumps in the air and grabs them, but the move is performed from the ground. Akuma throws from the air, but it can only hit ground opponents.

2. Who has an omega sign as one of their trademarks?

Answer: Remy

Remy has an omega sign on his leather jacket. Alex has red scars for his trademark. Gill's trademark is his red and blue elemental properties. Akuma, of course, has a kanji sign on his back.

3. What is Makoto's father's name?

Answer: Masaru

Masaru's name appears in Makoto's ending. Ryu is no way related to her. Mad Gear is a gang from Final Fight. Nokoto is a made up name.

4. Who has the fighting style Senjutsu?

Answer: Oro

Oro has a modified form of Senjutsu, where he uses one hand to fight (for the most part). Ibuki's fighting style is Ninjitsu. Makoto's fighting style is Rindoukan Karate. Yun's fighting style is Kenpo Karate.

5. Who is the only player to have a special victory pose by winning by perfect?

Twelve performs his basic "jump then glide away" pose. His previous prototypes join the party and stand near the fallen comrade.

Hugo's Moonsault Press is one of the most damaging special attacks in the game, being able to kill anyone if performed on the opponent 4 times. It is Hugo's biggest asset, as it cannot be blocked or parried, has decent range, and can help turn the tide of battle.

Answer: Eleven

They are Akuma (Gou Hadouken), Chun Li (Kikou Ken), Dudley (Personal Action), Gill (-kinesis), Ibuki (Kunai), Ken (Hadou Ken), Oro (Air Disk Palm), Remy (Light Of Virtue), Sean (Personal Action), Twelve (N.D.L.), and Urien (Metallic Sphere). I counted Twelve's move because it is essentially a projectile, because it does not have the collision of other moves, ie. you cannot hit the projectile to hit Twelve.

8. You can protect yourself against projectiles with Tengu Stone Riot without attacking.

Answer: True

If you crouch with Oro, the Tengu Stone can cancel some projectiles, such as Ryu's Hadou Ken. It doesn't work against all moves though. Remy's Light of Virtue Low can still hit Oro, for instance.

9. I travel the world alone. I try to keep myself out of the spotlight. Who am I?

Answer: Q

Q tries to stay in the shadows, only revealing himself if he believes the opponent worthy. Elena travels the world, but to make friends. Ryu travels alone, but does not try to keep himself out of the spotlight. Hugo travels with Poison, so he certainly isn't alone.

Answer: Ken and Makoto

If you won a round with Ken performing his neutral throw on Makoto (the one where you constantly knee her), the game would reset. This was fixed in the console versions and some later arcade versions.
