Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How much more does the SCTC Cordless Wall Phone cost than the SCTC BR-8 Standard Telephone?

Answer: $25

The SCTC Cordless Wall Phone costs $75 and the SCTC BR-8 Standard Telephone costs $50. What's the difference between them? One hooks onto the wall, and the other rests on a flat surface. In the long run, you're more likely to be spending extra money for an end table or countertop to place the standard phone on, so I'd suggest getting the wall phone.
2. What is the 'Fun' value of the "See Me, Feel Me" Pinball Machine?

Answer: 5

The "See Me, Feel Me" Pinball Machine will provide plenty of fun for your Sims while plenty of flashing lights and loud noises fill the room. This electronic object costs $1,800, and it takes up two units of space in your house.
3. How many units of space does the Numica Folding Card Table fill up?

Answer: Four

The Numica Folding Card table is classified as a kitchen table and since it's quite cheap (only $95) it doesn't bring up any "Room" points. Sure, it isn't classy, but it matches the Numica Kitchen Counters, and it's under $100. Oddly enough, it doesn't actually fold.
4. The Cagmia Simore Espresso Machine is most likely to be placed on which object?

Answer: Count Blanc Bathroom Counter

The Cagmia Simore Espresso Machine can't be placed on anything but a counter, an appliance (eg. on top of a dishwasher), or a kitchen table. Therefore, since the Count Blanc Bathroom Counter is a countertop, you can place it on top. The product brewed from this espresso machine brings down your bladder points by two, but raises your energy points by two, and it's for use by adults only. Oddly, this contraption also has a Fun Value of 1.

It costs $450. If you can't afford it, you can always buy the cheap and affordable Mr. Regular-Joe Coffee Machine instead.
5. How much money does the Snoozmore Alarm Clock cost?

Answer: $30

The SnoozMore Alarm Clock is an essential tool for the working Sim. If you set the alarm, it will wake your Sim up about two hours earlier than when their carpool or bus arrives. If you buy the clock, it must go on a table, so try and get a nightstand for it.

Despite the fact that this item is cheap and useful, it doesn't improve the room value or any other value for that matter, and you can always wake your Sim up manually.
6. What item allows you to create your own artwork?

Answer: "Dimanche" Folding Easel

This folding easel allows you to raise your Creativity points while it affects you with its Fun Value of 2. Although it costs $250, you'll probably make the money back easily if you raise your Creativity points. The higher your creativity, the better pictures you can paint, and then sell for more Simoleons.

The folding easel is quite affordable, and since it only takes up one unit of space, you can place it into a corner or out of the way.
7. What is the Junk Genie Trash Compactor categorized as?

Answer: Appliance

Got a lot of trash, and tired of leaving it out in a garbage can? The Junk Genie Trash Compactor is the easy way to take out the trash. You simply stick the garbage in, and when it's full, you take the compacted garbage out to the curb. The compactor is a bit noisy when you use it, and it's about the size of a dishwasher, but it's a must for any five-star kitchen.

The cost is $375, but it's much better if you don't want a couple of $30 Trash Cans cluttering up your kitchen.
8. Who created the picture "Still Life, Drapery and Crumbs"?

Answer: Brad Shaw

"Still Life, Drapery and Crumbs" is the most expensive painting that you can place in your Sim's household. This work of art can fit perfectly onto your wall, and it only costs $7,600. The painting has a room value of 9 points- the second highest rating. If you really want to blow your cash, you could always spring for a "Large Black Slab" sculpture by ChiChi Smith at an estimated cost of $12,648. What's the difference? The sculpture takes up more space, and its room value is at 10 points.
9. What is the name of the most expensive computer that you can purchase?

Answer: Meet Marco

This top-of-the-line machine is worth a rather large price of $6,500 (which is much less than that "Large Black Slab" I'm sure everyone's dying to get). Sure, It's a lot of money, but this computer is the object with the highest Fun Value (9) that money can buy. Like any other computer, this will allow your Sim to study, play games, and look for a job, and it must be placed on a desk or a table. Think of it as an investment rather than an expensive purchase.
10. What is a "Spartan Special"?

Answer: A bed

The Spartan Special is the cheapest bed that you can buy in the game valued at $300. The comfort rating is at 6, and the energy rating is seven. Unlike many other beds, this one only has room enough for one person. If you need a cheap bed for two people, try the Cheap Eazzzzze Double Sleeper.

It costs $450 and has a better comfort and energy rating than the Spartan, but it's double the width.
