1. "Give It Up For The Great Raul Di Blasio" was a quiz about an Argentinian musician. How would you say "up" in Spanish?

Answer: Arriba

Raul Di Blasio is an Argentinian pianist and composer, known mainly for his piece "Corazon de Niņo" (Heart of a Child), which he wrote after listening the ultrasound for his first child. The song is actually one of my favorites to play when I sit behind the piano!

"Abajo" means "down", while "planta" means "plant", and "izquierda" means "left".
2. "Cooking with Octopus" described a variety of ways and methods to cook which sea animal?

Answer: Pulpo

The quiz gave an overview on how to cook an octopus, from cleaning it to simmering it, and how it is eaten in different cultures. For example, in Korea, they eat "sannakji", a dish made of live octopus!

"Camaron" means "shrimp", "pescado" means "fish", and "tiburon" means "shark".
3. "Hopeless Wanderer" was a quiz about several wars that have happened throughout history. What would "hope" translate to?

Answer: Esperanza

The quiz dealt with how hopeless humanity seems to be with so many wars, from the Trojan War, all the way to the Cold War and the War in Afghanistan. It also talked about topics like the American Civil Right Movement.

"Odio" means "hate", "mesa" means "table" and "telefono" stands for "telephone".

Answer: Stroke of Luck

"Stroke of Luck" was about several things considered lucky in different parts of the world, such as the numbers 7 and 8, dolphins, horseshoes, and four-leaf clovers.
5. "Stroke of Genius" covered a variety of creative people who changed humanity with their ideas, such as Shakespeare for example, who wrote more than 30 what?

William Shakespeare was an English author and playwright, famous for many of his plays, like "Hamlet", "Macbeth", and most notably, "Romeo & Juliet". He also wrote a great number of sonnets.

"Instrumentos" means "instruments", while "camas" stands for "beds" and "bocinas" are "speakers".

Answer: Cat

"The Illustrated Cat" was about how cats have been used in art from the times of the Egyptians, since cats were sacred to them so they were mummified and buried with statues of them, to artists like Francisco Goya, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and Pablo Picasso, who have also depicted these felines.

"Dog" translates to "perro", "ant" to "hormiga" and "bird" to "pajaro".
7. "TV Theme Songs" was a quiz about songs featured in popular television shows throughout the years. How would you say "songs" in Spanish?

Answer: Canciones

The quiz is about the theme songs of shows such as "House" ("Teardrop" by Massive Attack), "Friends" ("I'll Be There For You" by The Rembrandts), and "Malcolm in the Middle" ("Boss of Me" by They Might Be Giants).

"Vasos" means "cups", "plumas" means "pens", and "guitarras" means "guitars".
8. "Oh Love" was a quiz that asked about random facts based on the lyrics of the song of the same name by band Green Day. What would be a literal translation to Spanish of the band's name?

Answer: Dia Verde

Green Day released the song "Oh Love" in 2012, as part of their ninth studio album "iUno!" Other songs in this album include "Let Yourself Go" and "Kill the DJ".

"Rojo" is "red" and "azul" is "blue", while Verde Valle, which translates to "Green Valley", is a training facility for Mexican soccer club Guadalajara.

The quiz showed some interesting methods to prevent vomiting, such as drinking apple bark tea, or ginger, lemongrass or turmeric infusions. Nutmeg capsules, for example, are also helpful when stopping nausea.

"Escribir" means "write", "aprender" means "learn" and "comer" means "eat".

The other words all have similar meanings; "dificil" means "hard", "complicado" means "complicated", and "imposible" translates to "impossible".
