Well, I heard a song that was so bad I would rather rip out my jugular vain, cut off my arm with a butter knife, gargle 2 tons of broken glass mixed in with rusted nails, claw my eyes out with razors, and jump in a pool filled with Pirrahnas, gigantic scissors, and double edged razor blades than listen to that stupid, no good, piece of crap song ever again! Does that count? Reply #204. Dec 17 08, 7:47 AM |

Driving home the other night, I heard Billy Joel's 'Just the Way You Are' and had to pull off to the side of the road to wait until the tears stopped coursing down my cheek. I have to explain, since the song isn't sad at all, that it was "our song" for my husband and me, and this was the first time I had heard it since he died. Reply #214. Mar 29 09, 4:18 PM |

Ma'am, that's remarkable synchronicity. I was just coming to this thread to post about the same song, unlikely as it is. My reasons for doing so weren't the same as yours, though, and given what you've just written, I'll keep them to myself. Reply #215. Apr 04 09, 8:43 AM |

I am just listening to Clannad´s Chuaigh Mé Na Rossan. Really beautiful and sad. If someone knew an English version of the lyrics, I´d be grateful for the link. Reply #217. Dec 07 09, 4:37 PM |
