"Skin" - Rascal Flatts "See You Again" - Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth "In The Arms Of The Angel" - Sarah McLachlan (This song was popular when my grandfather died. Every time I heard it on the radio I would cry). "God Gave Me You" - Blake Shelton (My dad had Alzheimer's. The last day I spent with him alone, we watched that video on tv). Reply #383. "Alyssa Lies" by Jason Michael Carroll. It's a very sad song based on the true story of a little girl who died as a result of child abuse. Reply #387. Feb 11 17, 10:44 PM |

This is going to sound really lame, but..the Winnie The Pooh theme. I was a big fan as a kid and my mum made a collage of Pooh Bear stuff for my room. And I still have the stuffed Pooh she bought me a few years ago. We lost her to motor neurone disease recently and I cannot hear that song without wanting to collapse in a sodden heap. Reply #388. When the Children Cry from White Lion has gotten me a little misty-eyed a few times. Pretty emotional song. Reply #390. Apr 28 17, 9:04 PM |

Speaking of Queen up there, the song Drowse from A Day at the Races has made me a little misty-eyed at times, but certainly not when it first came out. When that first came out and I was in my mid teens, the words didn't mean the least little thing to me. No teenager is ever going to understand what that song is saying. Needless to say, over the years the words to that song gradually took on a whole new meaning and I began to understand more and more over time what they were really saying. Nothing to bawl about, just kind of hopelessly nostalgic and a very excellent song from a most excellent album. Reply #391. May 12 17, 4:02 PM |

Two songs made me cry my eyes out after my dog I had for 17 years, died. A few days after he died, I was driving down the street when Doris Day came on, singing "My Buddy". I was crying so hard I couldn't see, and had to pull over. The song has had the same effect since then. A few days later, driving again, Elvis came on singing "Old Shep". Again the tears came.
