"Like A Bridge over Troubled Water" by Simon and Garfunkel. I'm sure it doesn't help that my mother wants it played at her funeral. Also "Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler. Reply #223. Dec 17 09, 11:29 AM |

Hey Schoonie101 I had never heard of Iz until six months ago when they played this song on the UK radio stations. What a stunning voice he had. R.I.P. Israel Kamakawiwo'ole – Somewhere Over The Rainbow http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ltAGuuru7Q&feature=related Reply #228. Jan 29 10, 4:59 PM |

I've literally cried at so many songs that I can't remember them all - some people say they don't understand why I'd want to listen to "sad" music so much and make myself cry, but it's mostly the intensity of things rather than me feeling bad! I'm a writer so intense emotion is a big inspiration for me. It's mainly bands like Lacrimosa, Letzte Instanz, Rammstein. And some that people may have heard of!: Lacuna coil, Evanescence. Basically anything with harsh distorted guitars and melody/strings - I don't really like bands like Iron Maiden whose guitars are just that whiny way haha. Reply #233. Apr 15 10, 9:19 AM |

I do NOT cry emotionally at songs. That is, a song doesn't move me to tears with emotion. But sometimes, when I play the songs on guitar, or bass, I sometimes tear a little bit, just because the songs are so powerful, and I get REALLY into it. "The Pass", "Available Light", "Everyday Glory", "Losing It", "Red Sector A" and "Subdivisions", all by Rush. But the biggest one is the Guitar solo in "Limelight". Reply #235. Apr 29 10, 8:13 PM |
