Music has been making me cry since I was a child. Music is great though, it can make you cry and it can make you dance! I prefer to dance, I've cried enough. Reply #241. May 13 10, 10:18 PM |

There have been many songs that evoked tears from me, but the one that always chokes me up is "The Prayer" when sung by Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion. Reply #242. May 15 10, 3:12 PM |

I just thought of a few more songs that make me feel like crying. "Moon River" is one. It's a mournful song that makes you think of time that has passed you by that you can never get back. The other one is the beautiful aria "Song To The Moon". One of the most beautiful songs ever written. Very emotional. Also, " Adagio For Strings" is very moving. I first heard it while watching "Platoon" & have never forgotten it. Reply #244. Jul 30 10, 9:23 AM |

Fifteen by taylor swift is a very true, sad and powerful song.it makes me cry every time it gets to the part when she said abigale gave every thing she had to a boy who changed his mined.it reminds me of me and my first boyfriend. My boyfriend now really cares about me and thankfully he was my first kiss and not my last(first)one. Reply #253. Oct 05 10, 4:02 PM |

callie, you're right about "Song to the Moon"; it's quiet moving. It's from a Dvorak opera called Rusalka, by the way. Here's a vocal version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tImMZLfHaE&feature=related Here's an instrumental version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-q42ev-CHA (I always do better when I can read the title, then hear the music. I learn more that way, too.) Reply #255. Oct 06 10, 5:21 PM |
