I borrowed this from geography, who would you most like to meet from any area of entertainment or sport? I'll post mine first.

Having just seen a pile of photos of him playing his clarinet all over Europe, my first by far is Woody Allen.

Then a few I'm glad to say I have seen (but not spoken to )on stage, including Patrick Stewart, Bill Haley and Frankie Howerd, and being a bit of a celeb chaser do go out of my way to see my favourites so it makes my other list a little shorter as time passes. Back to 'ifs':

Elvis of course, had he been alive,
Bruce Forsyth
Michael Caine
and one I looked up when he was in the theatre but wasn't around, partly for the joke, Edward Woodward.

Edward Woodward joke:

Why are there 4 D's in Edward Woodward?

As Ewar Woowar would sound silly.

One of my all time favourites.

I would like to meet Jenifer Aniston and tell het I don't like the androgenous Angeline Jolie and that Brad seems to have lost his spark since being connected with the other woman. Jennifer made Brad shine but now he's with Angelina, he's not so cool (in my opinion of course).

I would also like to meet Bob Geldof. A great ambassador for the very needy of the world and a huge inspiration. Of course it would help if to have his wealth.

Talk of people who are no longer with us. I would like to acknowledge the great work of Steve Urwin, the Crocodile Hunter, the greatest ambassador for animals, conservation and wildlife that has ever lived. Austra;ia zoo is amazing. Having been there yearly for many years and the changes made there constantly is one of the many examples of Steve's ambition to do all he could for wild life and conservation. His animal zoo had an animal Hospital attatched, to rival animal all Hospitals and he would never go past a suffering animal, relentless in his work with them in mind.

Add more if you want to add dead people, just make a new list. I'm still wondering if anyone will mention anyone I have met. Not yet but still waiting!

There's a DJ on our local radio station who keeps a running list of "people who can show up at my door without calling first" and they consist mostly of gorgeous starlets. And I suppose this thread is the same type of thing. So the five famous people I'd like to meet, and who can show up at my door unannounced are:

1 & 2. Mick and Keith
3. Meryl Streep
4. Kevin Spacey
5. Steven Spielberg

I've always thought it'd be cool to meet famous people but not in a star-struck manner. I'd rather hang out, eat a burger and find out stuff they keep from the public.

1. Gene Simmons: He's so arrogant. At least, he comes across that way. I'd like to know if it's an act. Plus I'd try to get him to give me stuff.
2. Hugh Hefner: I like the scenery around his house.
3. Diane Webber: A 1956 "Playboy" Playmate who I have an unhealthy fascination with.
4. Salma Hayek: The two of us could play jump rope.
5. Bruce Campbell: Actor responsible for films like "The Evil Dead" and "The Screaming Brain".

Sorry this was so long. I just like to write reasons. I mean, although it's cool for someone to want to meet say, Pauley Shore...I'd like to know why.
