Question - I know this is intended to be a 2022 challenge, but since it wasn't set until the middle of March, can we possibly extend it for a month or so into 2023? I am writing my head off (as best I can around real life), but don't see it getting quite done by the end of December. Reply #166. Nov 25 22, 2:37 AM |

We can talk about an extension closer to the end. The previous challenge has shown a lot of activity in the last few weeks and extending it early would just push that back. For now please everyone assume it does end on the original date and schedule your writing accordingly. Reply #167. Nov 25 22, 9:25 AM |

I am wondering if there is anyone who has claimed a title who needs to give it up because they know they just won't be able to finish it by the end of the year? Thanks! Reply #168. Nov 25 22, 10:24 AM |

Could you bold the title I did, Wes, please. Reply #169. Nov 25 22, 4:51 PM |

I might put 'Growing Closer' back up as I can't guarantee I can dig into it quick enough. Would love if someone else had an idea to run with. :) Reply #170. Nov 25 22, 5:22 PM |

Rossian puts 5 more words in the bag. 92 to go. Reply #171. Nov 26 22, 3:46 AM |

Remember that words like "and" or "to" do not need to be explicitly covered. I'll just mark them off when they're isolated on both sides. This could particularly help with several lines that make a much better title without the leading "and". Reply #172. Nov 26 22, 3:51 AM |

Technical question: Wes, pleas remind me, are the words in bold already taken or not? The phrase "Every evening" grabs me, if vaguely. Reply #173. Nov 26 22, 1:57 PM |

I'll take "All That We Have Done". I've got an idea for that title. I just had to make sure I could make a quiz out of it, rather than just a few questions. Reply #174. Nov 26 22, 2:30 PM |

Bold is the part that has been successfully completed. You need to pick some non-bold words if you want to contribute to the community goal. Reply #175. Nov 26 22, 6:15 PM |

I have an idea for the phrase, "And we live to keep the promise". Promise is already bolded, but the other word are not. Will it still work? Reply #176. Nov 27 22, 7:53 AM |

There's a song called "Morning". I could try an anatomy of a song type quiz on that. Reply #178. Nov 27 22, 9:12 AM |

You can use a partially bolded title (or technically even a fully bolded one) - the only rule is two players can't have the exact same title. A player could win the badgelet with "A New Day" or even just "New" (both a subset of rossian's recent entry) - but that would of course not do anything for the community goal. Reply #180.
