Thank you BigTriviaDawg for drawing my attention to the crossword possibilities. Could I please have "stillness of the night" which appears in both songs? Reply #26. Mar 24 22, 5:15 PM |

I'm wrong. "Stillness of the night" is just in "We Go On". Reply #28. Mar 24 22, 9:44 PM |

My contribution to this challenge is now online. https://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/SciTech/Another-Thousand-Circles-Round-the-Sun-408595.html I really enjoyed the concept of this challenge. I would like to write another for the series but I will let others have the pick of their choice first. Reply #34. Apr 02 22, 4:23 PM |

Sorry for double posting, but I'd like to make a little suggestion: I saw that the lines of the songs that are already covered by a quiz/crossword, are marked in bold. However, I think it would be useful to also mark lines that have been claimed already by any author and it's still whose quiz or crossword is still in the making. It would help others to see what parts are still "unused" and free to claim. Maybe you could put them on Italic? For example, I asked if I could have "the stars we find along the way", but browsing through the thread I saw it's already taken. When the thread gets too big, it will be harder to look at every single post to see if someone already took the title that you wanted. (Sorry for any errors) Reply #36. Apr 06 22, 11:32 AM |

I thought of it, but editing for all the claims - which might or might never be written - is very time-consuming and also error-prone (if a claim is tossed back, I would have to check everything for overlaps). Also, a highlight would not tell you exactly what has been claimed - if, as an example, "Destinations undiscovered, Revelations" were highlighted you could be pretty sure that's two titles, but not exactly what they are. I'm expecting this to become less of a problem quickly - most people will write their quizzes in due time - and by all means, you're not required to honor a 2 months old claim that the author is not writing for any time soon. Claiming is an informal help to avoid accidental duplicates - it's not required for the challenge. You could write something without claiming and it would count - there's just a bigger risk someone else could jump you. What might be useful (anyone from the community could volunteer for this) would be to make a summary post of unfinished claims each time we hit a new page. Then you don't need to scroll back to check. Reply #37. Apr 06 22, 12:55 PM |
