Answer: Molt

While the grasshoppers are partying in Mexico, a few of them at the bar talk about not going back to Ant Island. They convince Molt to tell Hopper because Molt is Hopper's brother and the only one that Hopper might listen to. Molt does tell Hopper, but that only makes him mad.

Answer: Flik

When the grasshoppers come, Flik, weighed down by one of his inventions, is the last to get the food to the offering stone and then get himself in the ant hill. After he puts the food on the stone, he takes off his machine and places it near the stone. However, he makes a grave mistake by not turning it off. As a result, the machine knocks the stone over and causes the food to fall in the water. Flik tries to tell Atta what happened. Atta doesn't listen, but when all the ants hear the grasshopper asking where the food is, and after the grasshoppers break into the ant hill and tell them they must collect twice as much food before the last leaf falls in the winter, all the ants except Dot get REALLY mad at Flik.

Answer: Robin Hood and his Merry Men

Flick left Ant Island in order to find larger bugs to help them fight Hopper and other grasshoppers. The ants let him go so he wouldn't be underfoot while they gathered the extra food for Hopper. Flik found the "warrior" bugs in the insect city's bar. The bugs were pretending to be Robin Hood and his Merry Men to get out trouble with two flies. Flik thought they were actual warriors and begged for their help. In order to get away from P.T. Flea's circus, the bugs agreed to do it. Flik had no idea they weren't really warriors until they told him later at Ant Island.

Answer: Hopper

Hopper forced the ants to collect food for the grasshoppers. He was cruel and threatened to kill the Queen. In the end, Flik lured him close to a bird that fed him to her chicks.

Answer: Ringmaster

John Ratzenberger played P.T. Flea, the circus ringmaster. P.T. Flea fired his circus bugs after a circus act went wrong and then after realizing the new act was a hit, he set out to find them again. P.T. Flea ended up ruining the ants' plans to get rid of the grasshoppers in the end of the film because he thought the bird they had built was real and he set it on fire.
John Ratzenberger is from Bridgeport, Connecticut. He is best known for his roles in Pixar movies and as Cliff in "Cheers".

Answer: P.T. Flea burns the bird.

It fools the grasshoppers at first, but then the bird accidentally crashes and destroys P.T. Flea's truck and the web he was trapped in. P.T. Flea, angry about this and not knowing that it was a fake bird (unlike the other circus bugs, P.T. Flea wasn't on Ant Island when the rest of the bugs made the fake bird and no one had been able to inform him about it or what was going on at Ant Island), burns the bird, forcing the ants to land it and revealing that it is a fake bird.

Answer: Hopper

Hopper is the biggest grasshopper, and therefore the leader of the gang. When the grasshoppers come to Ant Island to find that there is no food for them, they break into the ant hill to find out why. Hopper then learns that there's about to be a new queen ant, and he blames Atta for the lack of food. Atta tries to tell Hopper that it was Flik's fault, but Hopper tells Atta that the first rule of leadership is that everything is her fault. Hopper then makes the ants collect twice as much food for the winter as they were supposed to collect during the summer.

Answer: Heimlich, the caterpillar

None of the ants could believe that Flik brought help from other bugs to get rid of Hopper. The ants threw a party for the "warrior" bugs and the second grade class drew a mural on a leaf. Heimlich was depicted as dying in the fight because the ant's teacher told them it would look more realistic.

Answer: Molt

Molt was a fat and loud grasshopper who was easily influenced. He was the younger brother of Hopper, who disliked him. At the end of the movie, Molt joined the circus.

Flik created the harvester to try and make the food production go faster. It ended up ruining the entire harvest when he threw it under a rock that held the food and made the rock slip into the water below with all the food. He made the fake bird to try and scare away the grasshoppers. His plan was working until P.T. Flea came along and burned it.

Answer: Unite and revolt against the grasshoppers

Once the grasshoppers learn that the bird is fake, Hopper tries to blame Atta. Flik then tells Hopper to leave her alone and that the bird was his idea. Hopper and the other grasshoppers beat up and badly bruise Flik, and Hopper asks Flik how he had the courage to come up with this idea. Flik then reveals that the grasshoppers were going to kill the queen, and Dot backs him up, shocking the rest of the ants. Hopper then tells the ants that ideas like that are dangerous and that ants are mindless creatures whose only purpose is to serve the grasshoppers. Flik tells Hopper that ants are not meant to serve grasshoppers and that the grasshoppers need the ants more than the ants need the grasshoppers. While he's giving this speech, the other ants unite and the circus bugs unite with them. They all rebel and chase the other grasshoppers off the island. Hopper refuses to leave, so they put him in the cannon.

Answer: He gets expelled from the island.

He had previously been expelled from the island, but the other ants told Flik to find warrior bugs. The other ants, except for Dot, thought he would never find any warrior bugs that would want to help ants so they thought that by doing this, they were getting rid of Flik forever. He returns with a group of bugs that he thinks are warrior bugs and he tells the other ants that. Then, the other ants ask the child ants to make a mural of the "Warrior bugs" killing the grasshoppers, and then they do a play showing the warriors killing the grasshoppers, the circus bugs confess to Flik that they are circus bugs not warrior bugs. This makes both Flik and the circus bugs angry, each of whom felt that the other lied to them. So, the circus bugs tried to leave the island and Flik tries to encourage them to stay, but they only retreat back to Ant Island when they are chased by a bird. When they get back to the island, Flik gets an idea for all the ants and circus bugs to build a fake bird that can be operated like an airplane, and Flik says it was the idea of the "Warrior bugs". At this point in time, Flik was the only ant who knew that the "Warrior bugs" were really circus bugs. Then, P.T. Flea comes to the island looking for the circus bugs and reveals their secret. Initially, the other ants are mad at the circus bugs, thinking that they lied about being warrior bugs and that the bird idea was their idea. Francis the ladybug tells them that it was Flik's idea. Then, the other ants, except Dot, turn their outrage on Flik. Flik had lied to them about what kind of bugs he had brought back and he had also lied to them about whose idea it was to build a fake bird. The other ants never knew that Flik really did think he brought back warrior bugs at first and didn't found out later (but even after Flik found out the truth, he had continued lying about what kind of bugs those were). Flik is then told to leave and never come back. Flik is forced to join the circus.

Answer: Molt

Molt has a knack for saying things that bring comedy into the movie, but these things also anger Hopper. Molt hates Hopper at least as much as the ants do. Molt's life gets better at the end of the movie.

Answer: Heimlich

Heimlich was a large, green caterpillar with a German accent. He was often hungry and eating food. In the circus, he was one of the clowns. At the end, he became a butterfly, but his wings were very small.

Answer: Tuck & Roll

Flik meets Tuck & Roll in the same place where he meets Heimlich. Tuck & Roll are both partners. They land on a tack near the cannon when they swing on the trapeze.

This is right after Thorny reminds the princess of Flik's tunnel within a tunnel project.

Answer: It rains.

When Hopper refuses to leave the island, the ants and the circus bugs place him in the cannon that the circus uses. Dim's about to launch the cannon which would make Hopper leave the island, but then it rains. This causes all the bugs to freak out, which gives Hopper time to escape the cannon and grab Flik and fly off with him. The circus bugs try to stop Hopper, but they all they can do is get one of his antennas. However, Atta manages to grab Flik and release him from Hopper's grasp.

Answer: Tell him to leave the island

When the grasshoppers leave, Flik goes on trial for making the food disappear. Flik apologizes, but they don't accept his apology. Flik then comes up with an idea to go to the island across the canyon to find large warrior bugs who will fight off the grasshoppers. The other ants think this is a crazy idea at first, but then they agree to let him do this so that he will be off the island. They think he will never find any warrior bugs who would be willing to help the ants so they think they are getting rid of him forever. As he walks away, the ants cheer.

Answer: Blueberries

The blueberries were an all female scout troop that took Francis, the ladybug, as their den mother after she helped rescue Dot from a bird attack. Dot, the queen's daughter, was one of the members of the scout troop. The troop grew to love Francis and the feeling became mutual by the end of the movie.

Answer: Francis

Francis was a clown in the circus. He got very angry and would even fight bugs when they called him a lady. At one point, he helped to save Dot from a bird, after which he became a den-mother for the Blueberry Troop.

Answer: At the canyon

Dot cannot fly at first because she does not know how to. She learns how to fly when forced to do so. She learns it at the canyon because she is forced to fly across the canyon.

Answer: A Blueberry Scout

Ashley Tisdale provided the voice for the lead Blueberry Scout. The lead Blueberry Scout always picked on Dot for being little but finally accepted Dot during the grasshopper attack. Ashley Tisdale has been best known for her role on the Disney Channel show "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" as Maddie Fitzpatrick.
