Answer: cotton balls

In between eating the cotton balls, Buddy asked why there was a skeleton in the room and what its name was. I thought this was a very funny part.

This is the third rule in the code of the elves. The first is "Treat every day like Christmas," and the second is "There's room for everyone on the nice list."

Answer: Coca-Cola

After reuniting with his dad, Walter takes Buddy to his house, where everyone eats spaghetti for dinner. While eating, Buddy drinks a whole bottle of Coca-Cola. Afterwards, Buddy burps.

Answer: To someone special

After Buddy meets his dad, he gets very excited and wants to spend every available minute with him. Buddy tries to go inside the Empire State Building again, to give his dad a special present that he has gotten for him. The guards remember Buddy and throw him out, but Buddy insists that the guards give the gift to his dad, telling him that the gift is from Buddy. When Buddy's dad gets the gift, he opens the card attached to the box and reads aloud, "To someone special." He opens the gift to find the same lingerie design similar to Santa's uniform that Buddy had seen at Gimbels where Buddy works. Then, Buddy's dad gets embarrassed and confused at the same time about why someone would give him such a gift. Also, at the same time he is holding it up, his assistant walks in, thus embarrassing Buddy's dad even more.

Answer: Raccoon

The raccoon attacks Buddy when he welcomes it with open arms. The raccoon hisses first as a warning, but Buddy doesn't back off. The raccoon then jumps on Buddy.

Answer: Toy Testing

Because Buddy only made 85 etch-a-sketches, he had to test jack-in-the boxes. The clowns that came out scared him!

Answer: Snowberries

He overhears other elves talking and hears he is human. The little penguin asks him this when his running home because he's upset after finding out he is not really an elf. How could he not tell?

Buddy was in Gimbel's when a man starting yelling at him to get back to work. Since Buddy was dressed like an elf, the man thought he was supposed to be working in the North Pole section of the store.

Buddy is very discouraged and says that he is just a "cotton-headed ninnymuggins."

Answer: Jovie

Jovie works at the store Gimbels. Buddy is mistaken for a worker and meets Jovie and quickly falls in love.

Answer: Walter

Buddy's dad never wants to spend time with Buddy because Buddy is so annoying because he wants to do childish things with him, such as throwing snowballs, drinking hot cocoa, and snuggling. The whole reason Buddy comes to New York is just to find his dad, but Buddy's dad doesn't realize that Buddy really isn't that bad until the end of the movie. At the end of the movie, Walter realizes that the world does not revolve around him and that there are other people to think about. Buddy gets very happy knowing that Walter has changed his thinking.

He is sent out of the Empire State Building. He then goes across the street to a department store. Because Buddy doesn't look both ways when crossing the street, he gets hit by a car.

Answer: Susan Wells

Buddy's father was named Walter Hobbs. Susan Wells had passed away and never told Walter that she had his son. Walter Hobbs was on the naughty list which made Buddy upset. We find out that Susan Wells was Buddy's mother when Papa Elf told Buddy and showed him the picture.

He does this when he is on his way to Gimbel's. He thought it was going to be some type of candy but it was really perfume. Buddy does not think it tastes very good.

Answer: "Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?"

Buddy went to work with Walter one day because he was afraid to stay home alone. While he was there, the phone rang and Buddy ran and answered it. Walter was mad so he sent Buddy to the mail room as a punishment.

Answer: Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

When Rudolph runs away from the North Pole, he floats away on a patch of ice.

Answer: gumdrops

Buddy explains how he got from the North Pole to New York City. One of the places he passed was the sea of swirly twirly gumdrops.

Answer: Miles Finch

Near the end of the movie, Miles Finch comes to give Walter Hobbs story ideas for a new book because Miles is so famous for that reason. Walter and his workers have to work fast, for they only have a few hours of time to do so. After Buddy's date with Jovie, he comes in Walter's office saying, "I'm in love! I'm in love! And I don't care who knows it!" Then, Buddy notices that Miles is very short and assumes that he is an elf. Miles is sensitive about his height so they get in an argument. Buddy doesn't believe that Miles is not an elf so they actually get in a physical fight. Of course, Miles wins, but he leaves forcing Walter and his workers to find their own ideas for the book. Miles, however, accidentally leaves his little book of ideas which helps them.

Michael doesn't like his dad because all he cares about is himself. He is seen skipping dinner with his family to look in his old photo album where, he sees a picture of him and his old girlfriend.

The Mona Lisa is on display at the Louvre museum. It was painted by Leonardo Da Vinci and is one of the most famous paintings ever.

Santa tells Buddy not to listen to Leon because he's never been anywhere, because he has no feet. He says that New York is a beautiful place.

Answer: Gimbel's

At Gimbel's the manager thinks Buddy is an employee and promptly puts him to work. He does a beautiful job decorating the store for "Santa's" arrival.

Answer: Michael

While promoting the children's book that is due, Michael, like Buddy, interrupts Walter and convinces him to help him find Buddy by saying, "Buddy cares about everything. All you care about is yourself." Walter quits his job and helps Michael find Buddy.

Answer: Christmas spirit

At the end of the movie Santa's sleigh has crashed and needs Christmas spirit to
make his sleigh fly. Jovie gets a group of people singing with Christmas spirit and it eventually gets broadcasted on the news. Then, everyone gets filled with holiday spirit.

Answer: Beef and Cheese

When Buddy gets a closer look at this Santa, he realizes that he isn't Santa. He then starts to insult the fake Santa. He says that he sits on a throne of lies and smells like beef and cheese. Buddy pulls off the fake beard and Santa starts to attack Buddy.
