1 When asked in an interview if he had ever cried during one of his movies, Tom Hanks admitted there was one scene that turned on his waterworks and the scene was in "Forrest Gump". Which answer was his reply? (Think alloy)
Answer: "When Lt Dan introduced Forrest to his wife, with his titanium legs, I burst into tears."

"When Lt Dan introduced Forrest to his wife, with his titanium legs, I burst into tears." - Tom Hanks, on the "Newsmax" website.

The movie was chock-full of scenes where one's emotions were triggered. Lt Dan struggled for years to overcome his disability, even blaming Forrest for his misery. Tom's reaction doesn't surprise me when Forrest shows delight that Lt Dan has "new legs" - definitely happiness tears.

Tom jumped the gun a bit - when Forrest and Susan were introduced at the wedding, Susan was still Lt Dan's fiancee.
trivia question Quick Question
What was the first word Forrest said on screen?

2 When Forrest ran toward Jenny at the Anti-War Rally, he ran past something not once but twice. Who appeared for the second time, as Forrest worked his way through the crowd?
Answer: Same man wearing the same dark coat , cap, and glasses

As he was dashing through the crowd to reach Jenny, on the right-hand side was a man in a dark coat, cap, and glasses. A few seconds later as Forrest breaks through the crowd, the same man appears in a split-second camera shot.
3 When the bullies are chasing Forrest on their bikes, what does Jenny yell after him?
Answer: "Run, Forrest, run!"

At first, the three bullies just taunt Forrest and he slowly walks away, encumbered by his leg braces. But after the bullies get on their bicycles, Forrest must move away more quickly to escape them. Somehow, he doesn't think of running until Jenny tells him to (or doesn't think he can, but Jenny is always his inspiration). When she does, he can then run so swiftly that the braces on his legs 'magically' fall off and he runs ten times faster than any bicycle!

"Run, Forrest, run" is probably one of the most quoted lines from the film. Jenny also gives Forrest similar advice later in the film, when she learns Forrest is going to Viet Nam. He heeds that advice and would not have been shot but for the fact that he cannot leave his buddy, Bubba, and goes back to find him.

10 When Forrest Gump began his 3-year running trek, which location did he NOT run through, over, or by?

11 Where are Jenny and Forrest when Jenny asks Forrest to kneel down with her and pray that she will become a bird so she can fly far away?
Answer: Hiding in the cornfield behind Jenny's house

We later learn that Jenny wants to fly away because her father is abusing her. Soon after this scene, we find out that officials have learned this fact and Jenny has been taken to live with her grandmother. This pleases Forrest, because Jenny's grandmother's house is closer to his own.
