Batman was introduced by DC Comics in 1939. Bob Kane and Bill Finger were the creators. Batman's sidekick, Robin, was introduced in 1940. The costume of the original Robin was inspired by Robin Hood. Together they were known as "The Caped Crusaders" or "The Dynamic Duo". Robin was also called "The Boy Wonder".

The Captain and Tennille were a husband-wife singing duo from the 1970s. Daryl Dragon got the nickname "Captain" because he wore a captain's hat while performing as a keyboardist for The Beach Boys. He met Toni Tennille when she was holding auditions for the rock opera "Mother Earth".
She wrote the music for the show that had a brief stint on Broadway. Dragon, who was between gigs, auditioned for the show and got the job as a keyboardist.
After the tour of "Mother Earth" ended, in 1975, the couple began working together on other projects and soon they found stardom with their first hit single "Love Will Keep Us Together".
It reached #1 on the "Billboard Hot 100" singles chart and won a Grammy for record of the year. They were married later that year. During the 1970s they had other hits like "Shop Around" and "Muskrat Love" and had their own TV variety show from 1976 to 1977.

7. Bert (Rubber duck)

"The Lone Ranger" first aired as a radio show in 1933 in Detroit. The show's success led to a series of books, written by the show's writer, Fran Striker, and a television show that aired from 1949 to 1957. Tonto, the Lone Ranger's sidekick appeared in the eleventh episode of the radio show.
The native American companion was played by actor John Todd. On the TV version, Tonto was portrayed by Jay Silverheels, an indigenous Canadian actor. In the radio version Tonto was portrayed as elderly, but Silverheels' portrayal of Tonto was that of a loyal and courageous "buckskin wearing" warrior who fought alongside the Lone Ranger.
