Patrick Swayze was born in Houston, Texas, on April 18, 1952. Until the age of 20, Patrick attended elementary, middle, high school, and even Junior College in his birth town of Houston. Patrick was an actor who broke through in Hollywood for playing the role of resort dance instructor Johnny Castle in the 1987 coming of age film "Dirty Dancing".

Curt Schilling was one of the most dominant right handed pitchers in Major League Baseball from 1988 to 2007. He became a member of the illustrious 3,000 strikeout club, a Holy Grail for starting pitchers. Curt was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on November 14, 1966.

He was born to a military family so they moved around during his childhood. He attended high school in Arizona. As of 2025, only eight Major League players had ever been born in Alaska.

Founding member of the Beach Boys Brian Wilson was born in Inglewood, California, on June 20, 1942. Brian grew up in Hawthorne, California, where he showed a love for music early on, and taught himself how to play piano. He attended Hawthorne High School and was quarterback of their football team. The California based rock band loved to sing about the surf, sand, and California girls.

Phil Knight was one of the two men responsible for the founding the Nike franchise. He was norn in Portland, Oregon, in 1938. Knight ran track at the University of Oregon and teamed up with coach Bill Bowerman to buy Blue Ribbon Sports. They renamed it Nike and began selling running shoes. Knight is a philanthropist and a multi-billionaire.

Chris Farley was a movie star and cast member of "Saturday Night Live" from 1990 to 1995. Farley was born in the state capital of the Dairy State, Madison, Wisconsin, on February 15, 1964. Farley went to Marquette University in Milwaukee and first discovered improvisational comedy at the Ark Improv Theatre in his birth town.

Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on March 22, 1976. Reese is proud of her Southern roots and even had her first major movie role in "The Man On The Moon", a movie set in Louisiana. She was only trying to be cast in the film, but was given the lead role of Dani Trant, a young girl in love with a 17 year old boy in the coming of age film.

Former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama was born on January 17, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois. She served as First Lady from 2009 to 2017. Michelle grew up in the South Shore area of the Windy City. She attended Chicago's first magnet high school, Whitney Young High School, and graduated salutatorian in 1981.

Neil Patrick Harris was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1973. Harris is a versatile actor who first hit it big in the television series, "Doogie Howser M.D.", where he played a teenage child prodigy doctor on the ABC sitcom that ran from 1989 to 1993.

While filming the show in California, Neil continued to attend La Cueva High School in his birth city of Albuquerque with the help of tutors.
