The show aired on August 28th, 1993, on Fox Kids and was a staple in the programming block until the Fox Box replaced it on September 14, 2002. It was bought by Disney in 2001 before being rebought by Saban in 2018. It was then acquired by Hasbro in 2018.

After the opening titles, we see Austin and Walter in the Saban Audio Recording studio going over how the show came into existence and the story up to "Power Rangers Lost Galaxy". As they show the footage, they got into a bit of an argument as to who the coolest ranger was.

Alpha 5 looks more blocky as well as his head being different, Zoltar and his tube are green instead of blue, and the Command Center has different poles and is darker than in the originally aired episode.
