He captures her, but tells her it's only to stop her from telling anyone that she's seen a real giant. Sophie has the brainwave of enlisting the help of the Queen, with the BFG and other giants finding a home in Windsor Great Park, near Windsor Castle.

Farmer Bunce, along with two other farmers named Boggis and Bean, appear in 'Fantastic Mr Fox', a 1970 book by Roald Dahl. The fox in the story is very clever and cunning, and manages to outwit the three farmers regularly, stealing chickens from each of them. The fox is nearly caught, but escapes with only his tail shot off. The farmers think they have cornered the fox and stand guard over the entrance to his den, but the fox, aided by other animals, has found another exit.

George Kranky is the main character from 'George's Marvellous Medicine', which first appeared in 1981.
