The theory of the Oedipus Complex introduced by Freud is a prime example, where a young boy unconsciously desires his mother and feels hostility towards his father as a rival for her affection. The feelings are large repressed, i.e made unconscious, because of the fear of displeasure or punishment by the parent of the same sex.

The Oedipus complex was first mentioned in his book "The Interpretation of Dreams" published around 1899. However, he did not specifically use this term in this book. The specific term was formally used in his later article in 1910 titled "A Special Type of Choice of Object Made by Men".

27th American president William Howard Taft (1857-1930) was appointed by President William McKinley as the Governor-General of the Philippines, which he served from July 4, 1901 to December 23, 1903.

In 1906, President Theodore Roosevelt appointed him as the 1st Provincial Governor of Cuba, which he served for about two weeks. President Roosevelt appointed him as the Secretary of War which he served from 1904 to 1908.

After serving his term as president from 1909 to 1913, he was appointed by President Warren Harding as the 10th Chief Justice of the U.S. which he served from 1921 until his death in 1930.

The song was originally recorded by American singer Johnny Brunette which peaked at number eight on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in December 1960. Ringo Starr's version reached number one on January 26, 1974. The song was recorded in his 1973 album titled "Ringo".

In the same album, he had another song, "Photograph", which also reached number one on November 24, 1973.

Following the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople from the Byzantine empire in 1453 AD, the Silk Road was closed as the Ottoman empire boycotted the trade with the West. They imposed heavy taxes on traders for using the Silk Route.

The loss of the access to Asian goods by land forced the Europeans to seek alternative maritime route, leading to the Age of Discovery. The sea route became more economically to use than land route which added to the decline of the Silk Route, and its total closure eventually.

They achieved their first WCX victory against the co-host New Zealand 1-0. However, they finished last in the group, losing 0-2 to Switzerland and 0-6 to Norway.
