Answer: Italy

At 25,171 square kilometers (9,927 sq mi) Sicily is the largest Mediterranean island, followed by Sardinia at 24,090 sq km (9,300 sq mi). Each island constitutes an autonomous region within Italy meaning they keep more taxes, and finance most of their own public infrastructure, though they get additional resources from Italy. Sicily and Sardinia have their own flags, their own coats of arms, and their own presidents and parliaments.

These and other autonomous regions were set up to protect and preserve cultural and linguistic minorities, and to prevent the islands seceding from Italy after Word War II.

Rio de Janeiro's "Christ the Redeemer" statue was completed in 1931, and it stands 98 ft (30 meters tall). It weighs 700 tons. The tallest Jesus statue is "Christ the King" in Świebodzin, Poland at 118 feet tall.
