Answer: Liechtenstein

At 61 square miles Liechtenstein is the fourth smallest country in Europe by area, and its population is approximately 37,000 (as of 2014). Andorra is situated between Spain and France and Catalan is the official language. Malta is an island in the Mediterranean Sea and it has two official languages, which are Maltese and English. San Marino is located entirely within Italy and the official language is Italian.

Answer: Moscow

The River Thames is exclusively located in England, so it does not flow through Moscow. The River Thames flows for 215 miles. During its flow through Oxford, it is called the Isis. The Moskva River flows through Moscow before it links up with the Oka River.

Answer: Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro

The Corcovado Mountain is located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil's second most populated city (according to figures released in 2010). The mountain's peak can be reached on foot, or via railway, a trip which takes around 20 minutes. The famous Art Deco statue of Christ the Redeemer, which was designed by Heitor da Silva Costa and sculpted by Paul Londowski, stands at the top, its outstretched hands symbolising peace.

In 2007, along with the likes of Peru's Machu Picchu and Jordan's Petra, Christ the Redeemer was named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

The Rio de la Plata translates as "Silver River". It is an estuary formed by the Parana River and the Uruguay River and it runs approximately 180 miles before it empties into the Atlantic Ocean.

In 1953, women's names replaced the latitude/longitude coordinates that had been used. In 1979, men's names were added to alternate with those of the women.

Baker Beach is a rocky beach area on the south coast of Alcatraz Island. It is from here that a notorious prison break was attempted to be launched in 1939 but the escaped inmates failed to get off the island because of the lack of wood to build a raft.

Answer: Finn McCool (Fionn mac Cumhail)

The Giant's Causeway was supposed to have been created during a fight between Finn McCool and the Scottish Giant Fingal (of 'Fingal's Cave' fame). In actual fact, the Giant's Causeway was formed by volcanic activity approximately sixty million years ago. It is a very popular tourist spot.

Answer: Santa Monica Pier

While Route 66, which once stretched from Chicago to Los Angeles, is no more, portions of it have been incorporated into present-day Interstate 10, which terminates in Santa Monica just a few blocks from Santa Monica Pier. Santa Monica Pier, which features restaurants, vendors, an amusement park, and even a trapeze school, is still alive and well-- it celebrated its 100th anniversary on September 9, 2009.
