1. My 'Flake' friend Cara was born in the Cedars of Lebanon hospital. Where in California is it?

Answer: Los Angeles

Known as the Cedar-Sinai Medical Center, the hospital has been used over the years in various Hollywood productions. Frank Sinatra died at the hospital in 1998. Prince Michael, son of Michael Jackson, was born at the hospital. Hollywood itself was so-named by H.H. Wilcox in 1886.
2. My 'Flake' friend Al lives in one of the states of Australia. He forgot to mention which one, but to help shorten my search, please tell me how many states there are in Australia.
