'Inkspell' Part 2 Trivia Quiz

Meggie gets to see Prince Jacopo, Violante and the Prince of Sighs. Violante, Cosimo's widow, is better known as 'Her Ugliness'. She has a disfiguring mark on her face. Fenoglio tells the Prince that Meggie is his granddaughter. The Prince seems to making himself ill, grieving for his son, Prince Cosimo. Dustfinger attends the festivities at Ombra Castle, but keeps out of sight.

He has a new marten, Jink. Farid is doing well, earning coins as a fire-eater. Dustfinger sees his daughter, Brianna, the maidservant to Violante.

But he does not speak to her. The Black Prince is delighted to see his old friend. Farid is excited to see Fenoglio and Meggie, but Dustfinger doesn't want to see either of them. Dustfinger plans to hide out in a secret camp, used by the Strolling Players, for a while.

Dementors are in the "Harry Potter" series. Mo is still seriously ill, and Resa is doing her best to keep him alive.

Mo and Resa are in the caves, which only the Strolling Players know of. Mo is still seriously ill; Nettle, the healer, is tending to him. Resa persuades Cloud-Dancer to take a message to Dustfinger. One of the Strolling Players, Twofingers, seems to believe that Mo is the legendary Bluejay, whom Fenoglio writes about. Mo gradually begins to recover.

Fenoglio wants Meggie's help by reading someone out of his book. Cosimo the Fair is dead, and they cannot bring back the dead, so Fenoglio plans to get Meggie to read out someone who looks like Cosimo. The Laughing Prince will have his son back, and the Adderhead's plans to take over Ombra will be thwarted. Fenoglio wants Meggie and himself to go to the castle to see Violante.

They will give her the reading stone - Violante loves reading, even though she is shortsighted - and talk about Cosimo. Fenoglio wants reminding of what Cosimo was like.

But Meggie has promised to see Farid.

Answer: Balbulus

The Piper is one of the Adderhead's leading men. An illuminator is an illustrator of books. Balbulus gets Violante to give him jewels so she can enter her father-in-law's library. Balbulus used to work for the Adderhead. Farid distracts Jacopo while Meggie and Fenoglio chat with Violante. Violante tells Fenoglio very little about Cosimo. Fenoglio confides in Meggie that he based the Bluejay on a real person. Meggie tells Brianna that Dustfinger taught Farid how to be a fire-eater.

Brianna comes to Roxane's farm to see Dustfinger for herself. She demands to know where he has been. She refuses to believe Farid when he says Dustfinger couldn't have come back. Gwin, the martin, has finally returned to Dustfinger. The Laughing Prince is now dead.

The Adderhead's men cause chaos in the market place. They want to make sure that Jacopo is the next ruler. Meggie begs Fenoglio to hurry and write about Cosimo the Fair. Meggie successfully reads Cosimo the Fair out of Fenoglio's words. Farid comes to see Meggie. Now Gwin has returned to Dustfinger, Farid plans to look after Dustfinger and make sure he doesn't die, as Fenoglio had written.

He encourages Meggie to visit them at Roxane's farm, and kisses her.

Llangollen is in Wales. Orpheus proves to Elinor how he well he can read, and how he is much better than Mo and Meggie. Orpheus longs to visit 'Inkworld' too. He makes Elinor cook for himself and Sugar, the wardrobe-man.

Answer: The Black Prince

The Strolling Players are convinced Mo is the Bluejay. He even has the same scar on his arm as the Bluejay. The Adderhead has got a price on the Bluejay's head and he'll kill anyone who is hiding him. The Black Prince says Mo and Resa stays in the Secret Cave until Dustfinger comes to confirm he knows them.

Dustfinger goes into Ombra with Farid, to get Cloud-Dancer's message from Resa. He tells Farid to bring Meggie to him.

Answer: The Piper

The Piper has a nose made of silver. He tells Dustfinger that Basta and Mortola are back - Mortola has been welcomed at the Adderhead's castle. Cloud-Dancer gives Dustfinger Resa's message. Dustfinger tells Cloud-Dancer to tell Resa that he will bring Meggie to her. Fenoglio tells Meggie not to hold too much hope in his words, After all, he didn't create Mo. Dustfinger is going to take Farid and Meggie to the Secret Camp.

Answer: Fairy

Mo is still ill, with a fever. He and Resa wait for Dustfinger to bring Meggie. There are screams in the Secret Camp, and Mo tells Resa to hide. But she stays with him.

Answer: The Spelt-mill

There is no sign of Resa and Mo in the wrecked camp when Dustfinger, Meggie and Farid arrive at the Secret Camp. The Adderhead's men have taken them away, and killed many more. Dustfinger thinks the prisoners will have been taken to the Castle of the Night. Farid wants to go with Dustfinger, but Dustfinger goes alone. Dustfinger wants Meggie and Farid to go to Ombra with Cloud-Dancer.

But they have no intention of doing so. Meggie reads the words Fenoglio wrote about Mo, hoping it will keep him safe.

She realises that Fenoglio based the Bluejay on Mo; the Bluejay even has the same scar as Mo. She sends another letter to Fenoglio, with Cloud-Dancer

Prince Cosimo sees Fenoglio at Ombra castle. The Prince is concerned because he has no memories of before he was supposedly killed. He does not approve of what the Adderhead has been doing; he plans to go to war. He wants Fenoglio to write songs to rally the people against the Adderhead. Fenoglio will live at the castle.

Answer: Slasher

As Fenoglio is packing, Basta and Slasher come to his room. They are looking for Meggie. Cloud-Dancer arrives at Fenoglio's rooms with a message from Meggie, at a most inopportune moment. Basta kills Cloud-Dancer. Meggie's letter begs Fenoglio to write and make the story happy again. Basta takes Meggie's letter.

Although he can't read, he will take it to Mortola, at the Castle of the Night.

Answer: Wayless Wood

The three of them make their way to an inn. The Adderhead's men are there with their prisoners from the Secret Camp. Mo is still only just alive, and Firefox calls on a moss-woman, who works at the inn, to tend to him. The moss-woman needs an assistant and chooses Meggie from the crowd.
